Chloe slouched against a tree trunk, exhausted. The past few days have been a mess; the chaotic press conference and team rocket's mysterious announcement. The organization sure did cause a lot of panic within the league ever since then Chloe had been ordered to keep a radar on team rocket but to no avail. Team Rocket once again seemed to vanish, there wasn't much leads that the league had given her. They only told her to keep a look out. In the end, it only made Chloe feel tired.

Yawning, she stretched out her arms and got stood back up. There wasn't time to be sitting around, as there was an urgent matter that needed to be attended to. A few minutes prior a report was given: primapes and passimian were fighting over territory and causing destruction to the natural habitats, resulting in wild pokemon seeking shelter within the city. From Chloe's perspective it was a pretty urgent matter and should be taken care of swiftly, and by pure luck she was within the area they were fighting. All she had to do was wait for help, there wasn't any way she could take care of such a hassle by herself.

Now this was the sort of job she was looking for. It was a healthy distraction from the swirl of emotion growing in the pit of her stomach, threatening to make her double over as a result of an ulcer. Rocket's return had been both unexpected and unsurprising. But it was enough of a shock to warrant her need to think of anything but the doom and gloom of Rocket looking over their shoulders.[break][break]

And the last thing they needed was for Rocket to come up with another excuse as to why the League sucked ass at their jobs. These Primeape and Passimian fighting over territory and displacing wild Pokemon in the area would be handled quickly and efficiently. The nearby town would no longer be under attack by frightened wild Pokemon looking to put down roots somewhere safer.[break][break]

She grins as she says this, jogging to catch up with the young woman. [break][break]

The sudden voice of Stormy had gave Chloe a small startle. Turning back she smiled seeing her superior catch up, feeling reassured that one of the elite four members was sent to help her. “hmm.. if I remember correctly I believe it is a group around 15-20!” It was a large group but if she did this with Stormy, Chloe felt confident that they’d be able to handle it! A grin of determination on her face she nodded eagerly. “Oh yeah we can! Thanks for coming all the way out here!” She was clearly excited to be working with her, she loved being a ranger since she got to work with such amazing people.

just as she finished saying it, a pair of primeape and passimian tumbled their way. Fighting violently both showed no sign of backing down. The ranger hadn’t been expecting the fighting to be this close to the city, but at least they made their job easier by coming to them. Tossing out a poke ball Chloe’s Gastrodon narrowed her eyes upon the fighting pokemon. “Gummy use muddy water!” Her pokemon did as told, but the pokemon didn’t even seem to be bothered. “... they really aren’t letting up.” She uttered towards Stormy, unsure how to approach. [break]

"So.. a lot, but nothing we can't handle if we're smart about it. They're hyper-focused on beating the crap out of each other, so we just have to stay out of the way of their brawling. Don't get in between them, that's where you're in danger."[break][break]

Her hands are on her hips and she has a look of determination in the crease of her brow as she examines the situation. In the time it took her to scan the field, a pair spilled out from the sidelines near the exit to the city. They eat up the distance in attacking one another, barrelling toward them.[break][break]

But Chloe's quick-thinking results in a successful de-escalation. With muddy water being poured over the two of them, they separate and move on, more concerned with their vanity than each other.[break][break]

"Well done! Like spraying a misbehaving Meowth with a water bottle, good idea!"[break][break]

Unfortunately, that technique may work for a couple, but maybe not for many. The ground begins to shake with the pounding of several more Primape and Passimian coming to the battleground.[break][break]

Stormy rolls up her metaphorical sleeves.[break][break]

"Just gotta have perseverance. It may not work permanently--"[break][break] as it seems the muddy watered Pokemon went right back at it-- "but we just have to keep in mind that these Pokemon are fighting over food and territory. We need to remind them that there's plenty to go around, and if one group isn't happy, to move on!"[break][break]

"That's the spirit!" Chloe replied returning the determination in her grin, she was glad that Stormy was here, the woman's confidence and conviction helped her feel even more determined. She took Stormy's advice seriously; last thing they needed was an injury. Giving a nod in response. Chloe blinked when she got praised, her previous action was completely impulsive. She was just glad that they managed to calm down and not aggravate them further. "Wow really didn't think that'd work!" She replied honestly as she looked a little surprised but still happy that they managed to discover a temporary solution. Chloe chuckled at Stormy's metaphor, it was the perfect for the moment.

"Yeah your right!" Chloe too rolled up her sleeves, "Keep spraying those meowth's Gummy!" The gastrodon trilled in response, releasing another muddy water at the pair, this time they ceased fighting; running in two complete different directions. "Hey it worked!"

It appeared that the technique of spraying these wild Primape and Passimian was proving to be effective. Once covered in muddy water, they seem to disperse and relax. [break][break]

"It seems to be working! They're leaving to go clean themselves up."[break][break]

With a flick of her wrist, the woman releases a couple of Arcanine onto the field. Their paw pads leave burn marks in the grass in their excitement.[break][break]

"Now let's guide the Passimian back into the forest where they belong."[break][break]

Given their muddy predicament, the Arcanine herding them back seems to be effective. They've lost the motivation to fight- or maybe its the mud in their eyes clouding their judgement.[break][break]

"Wow your right!" Chloe responded a little surprised to see that it was working rather effectively. She found it slightly funny that the pokemon seemed to care more about maintaining their hygiene over their territory. "Keep up the good work, Gummy!" she called out using words of encouragement. The gastrodon seemed to be overjoyed, happy to be helping. Spraying the dirty water whenever she spotted out rowdy pokemon.

"Sounds perfect to me!" Chloe grinned, looking to see that Stormy's arcanines had been hard at work chasing the Passimian back into their forest. "Looks like this will be a lot easier than expected." She was happy, after this maybe she'll sleep for a few hours.
