Baffled? Awestruck? No word could even come close to the emotions Ezra was feeling tonight. Three months ago he was just writing meaningless blog posts about Hoenn's "top ten cutest pokemon". Now? Well, now he was in the same room as monsters with the ability to stand beside legendries. Lugia, Darkrai, and shadow pokemon weren't even concepts to him yesterday. Hell, even the idea of witnessing a legendary was dream-like to him. Since stepping onto their headquarters, everything has felt unreal to the simpleminded reporter. Even his "comrades", who appeared as normal as those from his very own job, felt nightmarish in a sense. As if their mere glance would melt him into a puddle of goop.

Swallowing, his eyes flicked towards the center of the room, fearing the very thought of eye contact. 'Mental pictures, mental pictures...' his brain rattled with foreign words he picked up throughout the night. Blue mulch, absorber, psychological warfare, Lulu Flint , Chu-e Choi , and more... Ezra knew he NEEDED to remember EVERYTHING. Nothing about tonight could be forgotten - as he was the only person who could air this out. He took a steady breath. Hands trembling, he began to move deeper into the crowd, hoping to remain unnoticed. A ghost in their eyes. 'Don't notice me...' he prayed. He knew what would happen if someone caught him, and well, even death would be better than that. And, because he recognized that very fact, he carried not a single camera or note book. Everything written down from tonight was mental and belonged to his brain alone.

Oscar's shoulders slumped as Darkrai made its choice. Appearing before Lulu Flint, it was clear that the dark Mascot of Rocket found her to be the most worthy. Oscar smiled, clapping along with everyone else. He can't deny that Darkrai had made a grand choice, Lulu deserved all of its power and more. He made a personal note to congratulate her personally when he had the chance.

Oscar's eyes quickly turned to Emma Wolfe, watching with a concerned expression as she silently excused herself. Oscar folded his hands together, not sure what to do. His instincts told him that it was time for him to step up and come to his mentor's aid, although he was scared that he would not accept it. He would give her some space for now, but Emma should expect a visit from Oscar before long. No matter how much she may deny it, the two were friends and he was going to be there for her.

Emma the ariados soon came into view, crawling toward Oscar with her usual nonchalance. She seemed unbothered by any of the events happening, even though she respected human Emma she could not bring herself to care about her plight. Yet Oscar recognized that she did well, giving her a nod of acknowledgement--which usually meant that Emma was free to turn invisible again. She did so without hesitation. 

The meeting seemed to be winding down, so if Oscar had any questions now would be the time to ask. He could only think of one thing he would ask Walsh, a curiosity that had been on his mind for a while. When given the chance, Oscar stepped forward from his position toward the side of the stage. He made himself clearly visible to Walsh, and spoke when he thought he would be heard.

"Declan sir, I had a a quick question before we moved on. The alien general capture at the battle of Lilycove, what is Rocket's plan for him? Have we been able to get any useful information since his capture?" Lilycove seemed like a lifetime ago, yet he had heard nothing about the general captured by himself and priam conrad. Hopefully Walsh would be willing to part with some details on his current condition.
