Ciel, not the one in person but the one who lived in the mind of an idiot, had really thought this thread had been posted in. It had been checked just to see if the catches had went through and if any pokemon needed to be added to his PC. Yet. Here he was. Flabbergasted. Yams, that dense motherfucker, had not posted in this.

After bending over to retrieve his pokeball, Ciel turned at the sound of glitch maverick's voice. He lifted his flashlight up only to find that, somehow, it had been replaced with the top of a Lampent. A small pat was given to the ghost type before he made his way back over.

"Ah! A Dusknoir!" He sounded delighted, lifting up the Lampent to get a better look.

"Most people would mistake what this Dusknoir is doing as a predatory stance. It is very similar! However, the eyes on the stomach aren't glowing, which indicates this is instead a friendly gesture. It's theorized that Dusknoir, and it's pre-evolutions, will do this if the person reminds them of someone dear to them." So, indeed, it seemed the Dusknoir wanted to be friends, or at least not eat, the other trainer.

"This Lampent, however..." He lifted it back up and gave a sigh. A pokeball on his hip was tapped, a Krookodile released. Snaps was a frequent on his show but this was the first time he would premier since he had evolved. There was a grin of sharp fangs and Ciel released the confused Lampent right as the CRUNCH snapped the pokemon. "It is trying to steal my life force."

Before it could flee, he tapped it with a pokeball. Couldn't let that one run around.
