Melody had visited the mausoleum again that she recently had visited with Kyle Lopez, when she had plucked the carrots the first time they sprung to life she felt like something was watching her. Something that while following her was careful to not reveal it's self to her. She looked around "Hello..?" she said out loud? Typically Pokémon weren't that afraid of approaching her but this thing following her...was it a Pokémon? Well melody just trusted her instincts and sat down, she let out her Hypno with her. "Hey Hypno mind helping me keep tempo?" she said as she took off her hair tie and hypno nodded and bowed. Metronome seemed to swing the pendulum in it's hand with a specific speed in order to help melody stay on beat. She began to hum slightly, hoping to entrance whatever was watching her into coming out.

TAMING THE HORSE



UPON RETURNING TO MT. PYRE, the same unnerving feeling of being watched returns. on this eerie mountain, your footsteps seemingly disappear in the mist that endlessly billows out from the earth. oddly enough, the time of day is obscured: it seems like you're in eternal night. this has never happened before and as you struggle to find a rational explanation for this phenomena, you instinctively hush yourself. a horse-like pokemon neighs in the distance. wreathed in spectral mists, a black equine pokemon hovers in midst the fog.

however, the horse seems to notice you. it advances close. the clopping of hooves is muted— or rather, it sounds like an ominous breeze surging in like a tide. suddenly, it disappears in the dense haze before reappearing behind you like a phantom.

Melody suddenly turned around and gasped at the Pokémon and even almost fell over, seemingly hypno was also shocked by it's sudden appearance. How in the world did it sneak past a psychic type? Well regardless, it seemed to eerily peaking into melody's bag that contained the carrots...horse pokemon did seem to like carrots so maybe it was just simply hungry? Melody pulled out the carrot and handed it over to the horse pokemon, was this a different kind of rapidash? She hadn't heard of it before... Melody tried to put it on the snout to see if she could bond with it and convince it to come with her since the poor thing always seemed pretty hungry. [break][break]

It was beautiful...yet it was also some what scary...was all it wanted carrots or affection? Melody couldn't tell...

THE NEXT NIGHT, the you don't spot the horse; however, it does find you. reappearing some distance away, it remains still: an eerie image in the mist. like spectral scarves, the mountain's ominous fog passes through where the horse's pasterns should be.

upon closer, quiet inspection, the horse seems hesitant. without the shaderoot carrots— you do not possess the same gravity you once did; however, the horse approaches still, sensing your benevolent motives.

write a post that has your trainer offering any two week berry to the glastrier and then post in MODERATION REQUESTS. after they have been given the berry, the horse will promptly flash away.

you do not need to have the berry grow in your garden. you can simply purchase it from the SITE SHOP.

Melody came back to the same spot, hoping to see the majestic creature once again. She was right! It was here again! She didn't want to spook it so she used her very majestic talent of calming the fuck down from sheer practice to calm herself and not scare it off. She didn't have those carrots like last time...she dug around in her bag looking for the berry she bought with the intention of feeding it again. "I'm sorry I dont have anymore carrots like last time...but I did bring you this instead if you'd like, my pokemon seem to love them so I wondered if you would as well." as she pulled out a grepa berry from her small messenger bag. She offered it freely to the spectrier from her hand internally praying that the creature just didn't bite her hand in an attempt to just take it from her. she left it there with her palm open as it slowly approached her and...Success! Melody's face was contorted in all certain ways as she tried to remain calm and not freak it the hell out. [break][break]

She wanted to reach out and pet it...but she stood there and stayed her distance in order to respect it's boundaries.

Melody had arrived the next day again, hoping to see the strange horse again. It was starting to grow on her, she loved how beautiful and serene it was...yet it was still kind of creepy. It seemed like it's hair was a bit messy so melody went searching far and wide for a Pokémon who can use shadow claw. She then gave up and asked for help with this task, he suggested that she use this shedinja that he asked Adrian to borrow. She took the Shedinja and got the two acquainted so that it would be comfortable with this method of hair combing she was about to try. She walked around mt pyre, calling out to the horsie. "Cmereeee opal" she said, she wasn't sure exactly why she called it opal but she did...maybe it's cause the rock on mt pyre was kind of white and shiny like opal? [break][break]

Eventually she managed to tame the crazy lockes of hair on the spectrier, and just as fast as it appeared it was once again gone.

when the spectrier sees you again, they seem hesitant. without the iceroot carrots— you do not possess the same gravity you once did; however, the horse approaches still, sensing your benevolent motives. the spectrier must be freed of this spirit, for it seems to bother the horse like a clinging burr. perhaps, there is a pokemon that is an expert at sucking souls...

write a post that uses ONE SHEDINJA and a Pokemon using the move, VACUUM WAVE, to suck the soul away! after, post in MODERATION REQUESTS. after they have been cleaned, the horse will promptly fade away.

Melody had been stumped on how to exactly help the spectrier, she wasn't the most foremost person for knowledge on spirits and other types of things like that. At most she only knew that to please a spirit one can go to it's specified shrine and pray to it to ease it and certain rituals. But you know who WAS an expert on ghost pokemon? ! She went to him for advice and explained the situation was best she could, apparently a shedinja was able to suck the spirit out of something that looked directly into the hole in it's back if it so chose...so maybe she could use that and the move vacuum wave to help pull out the spirit of spectrier that was haunting it? Well she really had very little to lose. She showe dup to her regular spot where she kept running into spectrier and proceeded to release the shedinja she borrowed from ( really from ) and also the scyther she borrowed from a fan () that knew vacuum wave and bam the spirit came RIGHT out and fucked off to wherever the hell it came from. Nice! Spectrier as usual however did not stay. what a problematic pokemon

THE NEXT NIGHT, you see the horse. the spectrier does not seem hesitant at all this time. instead, the horse appears to have been waiting for you, as if they were in tune with your rhythms. your schedule.

when you approach, the spectrier kicks you. hard. you fall to the cold, hard ground; however, when you lift yourself up, you find yourself peering down at your own limp body. you're not dead— however, your soul seems to have been separated from your physical form nevertheless. in this odd, spectral realm, the horse grants you a test. in its mouth, a narrow wisp of spirit acts as reins.

Melody fell to the floor, but she didn't exactly remember weighing so little. She looked to her hands and was able to see right through them. Was this Spectrier's doing? She had heard of ghost Pokémon pulling spirit like shenanigans like this but not like this, wow. She looked around and immediately felt the nausea but at the same time saw how beautiful the world looked as well, it was kind of like a kaleidoscope.

FLOP. Once again he threw her off but melody had already made up her super stubborn ass mind. The horse kept refusing her, WHY?! TAMING THE HORSE



AS YOU RIDE AROUND THE MOUNTAIN, you feel your spirit becoming one with the spectrier despite the discombobulation of being forced out of your physical form. the odd phantom pains—ones that are associated with novice riders—begin to fade too. there is no discomfort now. only unity.

the spectrier finally stops. satisfied with its rider, the horse gallops back to your body. with a quiet whinny, the horse allows you to slide off its back. as soon as your feet hit the floor, you feel yourself being pulled back to your body. one blink and you're back. before you, the spectrier remains, awaiting to be caught.

THE SPECTRIER is now able to be caught with one of your pokeballs. you may decide their moveset like a gachapon pokemon (e.g. 6 learnset moves) and add them to your PCs.
