it's a massacre out there! the cutest beatdown the gym has ever seen. surprisingly, noah does not seem perturbed.

even as machamp falls to the canvas as a fainted, siphoned heap of muscle, the gym leader does not falter. his primeape rises from the mats, finally awake.

"hey! hey! alright!" noah says, hopping off his podium. he recalls his machamp with a crimson bolt. "during my time as a gym leader, i've never seen anyone who filled the close quarters combat objective as well as you." he scratches his chin, heat emanating off his workout glove. "at least, as creatively as you anyway."

his primeape huffs and heaves.

"you took my ace down." noah says. "and i made the critical error of having my primeape switch abilities." he places a hand on his chest and with a smug shape to his face, begins to body roll toward melody with a badge in his hand. "and for that, you deserve this."

She was pushing her Pokémon really hard during this battle and was kind of concerned with how hard they were battling. She immediately rushed over to them both and gave them both a big squeeze "You two did so good! Oh my god!! im so proud." she said shaking them back and forth as well. [break][break]

Melody accepted the badge and pinned it onto her shirt. "I gotta get home and go show my family! Thank's noah! See you in the group chat!" she said waving to him and rushing off to head back to lilycove.
