[attr="class","spiral"]The closest thing to meteoroids aside from the actual object itself are these Pokemon. Fernando’s campaign to capture enough to have a decent sample size for research continues. Such grunt work could be pawned off on another but opportunities like these, where he gets to personally test out his Pokemon’s strength, are like shooting stars against the night sky.

[attr="class","spiral"]The rest of the Pokemon here do not matter. If they prove useful, then it’s a shame they appear at such an inopportune moment. They have have a decade to prevent the meteor but Fernando doesn’t chance it.

Knowing Hoenn, something even grander will appear for them. They cannot afford to forget and leave this disaster unchecked.

[attr="class","spiral"]Well, perhaps there is an exception to the rule. A recent trend in Oricorio has perked Fernando’s interest. Their access to REVELATION DANCE has become a topic of research, so he allows the Pokemon to distract him from his objective.

“Battle routine set.”

A pokeball is lobbed, revealing his Zeraora. Its fur bristles at attention under the constant static that radiate from its clenched fists.

“Execute.”

It launches forward with an apt PLASMA FIST. Not to say that the Oricorio doesn’t fight back, but, despite it’s efforts, it cannot match the dexterity of the much more agile feline. Repeated blows leave the Pokemon both dazed and submissive to the Safari Ball that comes afterwards.

A Minior proves much less agile than both Zeraora and Oricorio. That means he expects his Pokemon to dance circles around the other, much like a boxer paired up against someone plucked off the streets.

SWIFT proves impossible to dodge but the attempt to weave between them to close distance is admirable. Once the Zeraora enters striking distance there is no recourse. Fernando captures the Pokemon shortly after.

Once more his Zeraora is meant to practice on a similar target. PLASMA FIST and lightning reflexes come to fruition but they are not impervious. Nothing is.

STEALTH ROCKS lash out when it comes too close but that is only a barrier to delay the inevitable. Half his Safari Balls have been used, which means they still have a ways to go.
