A violent tailwind rips through Mt. Pyre. Lugia's HURRICANE winds fight back against it, keeping Gavin safe, but he's powerless to assist as THEO BECKETT is slammed into the rock. He doesn't get up.

As Beckett was the one with Yamask, Gavin was obligated by orders to stay behind.

Yet it's not obligation that sees him immediately pivot from his planned exit. It's a sharp stab of despair that pierces through layers of indifference to remind him of his past.

He rushes to Beckett's side, fingers pressing roughly for a pulse as he searches for a particular pokeball. Bayleef was a source of discomfort and trauma for Gavin but it's shelved in favour of making sure his mentor — his friend — makes it out alive.

Gavin's Pokemon loom over them, protecting, and the shadow of Lugia's dark wings protects against the sandstorms that continue to rage.

Gavin remains behind after Rocket's exit to help THEO BECKETT.
TYRANITAR is idle, defending Gavin & Theo.
ROSERADE is idle, defending Gavin & Theo.
Presumably Beckett comes to consciousness and then they make their exit together.

Billi watched as the rocketeer quickly trying to sucker punch his lovely little pokemon. “RAZZBERRY” of course the little camera hidden pokemon quickly reacted, substituting itself out with a rock. It quickly returned by Billi’s side just before the poipole was slashed. The poor creature cried out in pain but Billi reached out, grabbing him and pulling him into his arms. “Majora..” the blonde held the weeping pokemon only to be protected by Impa, his Greninja.

It’s large mat block kept him protected from the primary damage, mainly by redirecting the damage that was incoming. Using it’s large tongue it attached to a higher ledge pulling Billi up to the opening the terrakion made. “Damn we lost it.” he frowned as the cave shook. “I’ll find everyone later I guess….” it was the familiar feeling from that damn war, that lingered up his body.
