Eva hadn’t been avoiding Rusturf Tunnel, it just wasn’t a place she found a need to go to . . . until now. With the mysterious resurrection of Xerneas’ ivory trees and the surge of primal energy fragments, she was on the hunt. The League was scouring every part of Hoenn and she volunteered to take Rusturf Tunnel. Dark, dingy, scary: It was right up her alley.

However, their search was proving to be fruitless – which was ok by Eva. In the end it could be a route they checked off their list in order to focus on the others, ”Sure you’re not getting anything?” she asked the TELEPATHIC Gardevoir who was intently scanning the area. The doctor’s flashlight shone over the rocky terrain to and on the silhouette of the psychic-type. Her head shook in response to Eva’s question.

A heavy sighed stopped the doctor in her tracks, “Welp, I guess we can check Rusturf off the list,” Eva pulled out her phone to make a note and send it to the League. Clumsy fingers dropped the device right onto the rock ground, “Well shit,” she grumbled, hoping the screen wasn’t cracked. As she bent down to pick it up, the sharp pew of a flying bone shot about her head and smacked into the tunnel’s wall with a loud crack. Eva gasped, shooting up with phone in hand and frantically looking around.

Adele was already on the case. The Gardevoir’s arm extended. A purple hued energy gripped the perpetrator and pulled it into the light, “WAK!” the ground-type growled, struggling against the PSYCHIC. The Marowak attempted to TRASH but it was no use against Adele’s strong hold, “Hpmh,” this was a feisty one. Eva liked it. The doctor extracted an empty pokeball and tossed it at the Marowak. At least she wouldn’t be leaving empty handed.
