The casting call had wanted two people to play semi hero’s of a space adventure, nothing to serious in the details just something fun they could throw at fans and gauge there reactions with. The script she had read over was pretty tame, mostly appealing to kids and younger adults and not something she could find a problem with. It seemed like the perfect thing to make some quick cash and start up some secret identity to hide around with, with it being a space show there was always the chance of her character being an alien or wearing a helmet most of the time. Passing the audition a few days later was pretty easy more so then she had been expecting, tapping had come a few days later and Natsuki could understand why passing the audition had been so easy. Looking at the costume they wanted her to wear was well, definitely not for children at all. With a sigh for her cursed luck Natsuki pulled the fabric out to get a good look at it, there was not much to this one and she wasn’t exactly sure how to put it on. Apparently a group of girls would be helping her fit right into the costume and she would meet her co star in less then twenty minutes.

The prince of Galar himself had been cast as, well... the prince of Mars.

He found himself in the makeup chair thanks to a charity fund he endorsed as Galarian Ambassador. His participation in this film, he had been assured, would draw enough attention to make a killing in the box office. All the profit he made on his end would be donated to low income families with children living in Hoenn and Galar.

Regardless of the fact, putting on a doughy white space suit and having his skin painted a bright red was rather embarrassing. They'd ask him to bring along his Beheeyem, as well. Ahura was thoroughly confused at first, but picked the director's brain (literally) to catch up and understand. Now they were walking onto the large set, a vast Martian landscape with craters and rocks, to meet the actress that Remiel would be working alongside.

Despite his space suit, red skin, and antennae, the royal retains his etiquette as he nods. "You must be Natsuki Ryuunosuke . Pleasure to be working with you." He straightens in posture as the Beheeyem by his side offers the woman a short wave. "Shall we go over our first scene together and rehearse?"

The fuss everyone had been making about her costar had been completely lost on Natsuki, she had heard the rumblings of the costume and make up departments ladies and even a few men losing their minds in a flurry of hushed whispers. Despite the keen interest into whoever it was she was suppose to be playing opposite of it seemed like the one thing she could honestly say was… he was hot. That had been the gist of what she had managed to over hear while being brushed and plucked and painted. With what had seemed like forever they were finally read to help her stand, in what she could only call as some fan service type of mecha outfit that was really not suited for children. Thankfully most of the larger parts to her costume had been make up of foam and other light material, there would have been no way she could have walked if they hadn’t been. Natsuki felt like a horse being lead out to pasture with the amount of prop assistance following her to make sure parts of her suit didn’t catch on anything. She had little time to pay attention before a few gasps and hurried whispers drew her attention to the ... oh my the bright red martin in front of her.

He bowed before greeting her giving Natsuki an awkward pause, no way she could bend over and attempt to bow back. With a short wave and a smile Natsuki attempted to greet him back, had they actually told her the name of her co star? Oh lord this was going to be weird “It’s a pleasure to meet you! Um I don’t think I was told your name, they were kind of in a hurry to uh somehow work me into this” she motioned to her getup. “That sounds like a perfect plan to me, they said something about making sure I could move properly for the next few scenes since they want to practice some of the action and effects”

The royal blinks, seemingly equal parts embarrassed and surprised. "My sincerest apologies, I had assumed they had given you my name." Placing his right hand gracefully over his heart, he issues a slight bow— a gesture that, though polite, was also somewhat silly in his doughy white spacesuit.

"Remiel Calcifet, at your service."

His name had popped up in Hoennian newspapers for the last two years or so, and in tabloids much longer than that. In the former, he was regarded as the current, and royal, ambassador of Galar to Hoenn. In addition to being the avatar of Zekrom, who had fought in the war against the Megalopolans at the battle of Mauville. In the latter, he was known for the title he had been born into: the prince of Galar, and heir apparent to the throne.

Regardless of all that, and whether Natsuki knew or not, the prince is eager to jump into the work they've been assigned. "May I ask what scene in particular?" He inquiries, reaching down to take the script his Beheeyem has been holding. Sifting through each page, he stops upon one highlighted all over. "Is it the one where my character unleashes the Martian Onix to destroy your ship?" He adds, narrowing his eyes on the content.

It seemed he must have been something of a famous name by the look of surprise that flashed over his face the moment the words had left her mouth. Natsuki watched as the martian prince began to do a rather outdated royal bow towards her in order to introduce himself. She couldn’t help but smirk and though she didn’t want to admit it, sit in awe at his ability to remain completely composed while completing the action. The name had seemed to ring a few bells for Natsuki and yet she couldn’t particularly pin point the exact place in which she had heard the name before. With a small look of confusion her face she tried her best to switch topics in order to move on from the subject. Just in case the martian prince might be a little offended that he was not notorious in her world. Thankfully the switch had worked and the two were now back onto the topic of their scenes, a few parts had alluded her and well that was mostly due to one jealous Pokemon eating part of her script.

“yes I do believe it was that one since it involves a lot of moment from my side of things, making that grand exit and then taunting you in that weird I’m the hero sort of manner” she shifted her weight to the left and crossed her arms “I think that I am suppose to make up some kind of fancy heroish dance and then you destroy my ship and I have to dodge some debris and then uh… sorry this part of my script got eaten last night” she sighed giving a rather depressed laugh along with it. “someone got jealous”

Remiel nods in agreement. What she'd relayed seemed to be, more or less, what the script had wanted them to show. "We'll be doing this in front of a green screen, correct? So we must imagine such things as the Martian Onix and your spaceship. It all seems quite silly, reallly..." But this was for the kids, right?

Gently shaking away his thoughts of backing out, the royal sighs. "Very well. I suppose I'll take it from the top? We'll stop when we reach the part of the scene that was... eaten from your script." That seemed quite unprofessional, really, but Remiel wasn't quite familiar with the world of acting at all and decided not to judge any further.

"Afterwards, we can review the end of the scene in my script. How does that sound?" He inquiries, looking around the room and finding a sofa he could possibly stand on to begin. Though he'd have to be careful about balance with his spacesuit.

“Well from what I understand they have prop like things that will mark where everything is suppose to be so that we get the position and timing right. Technology huh” she shrugged, money was money after all and if she had to fake having a destroyed ship and being attacked by a hunk of a martian well she was ok with all of it. Despite not understanding most of the acting world or any of the nuisances of show bis Natsuki was rather confident in her progress so far. Well that was until one red faced man commented about her half eaten script, Natsuki couldn’t help but turn bright red at the comment. It wasn’t as if she had let the script get eaten on purpose! She had been doing very well to keep it up and pristine in order to practice at home before the actual production had begun.

Sheepishly Natsuki nodded “yeah that sounds perfect, I will be in your care then” there was nothing left to do but contiune on from here, letting herself soak in the embarrassment would only make it harder for her to work with him in the future and well if this little mini drama became a hit with the kiddies…. Well they would be seeing far more of each other then they had both probably bargained for.
