With the way the world had been lately, Josh needed to spend a bit of time just exploring a bit, and enjoying the world that he had helped protect. It would be good for his mental health to just strike out for a bit on a day off and travel for a few hours. Catch Pokemon, see the sights and just enjoy himself. This helped remind him of why he did what he did too. It was a good motivator for his work, both as a Ranger, and as part of RaiCorp.

Today he and Lightning were fishing at Slateport. After their nap, he intended to have Zack and Lyra join him, but for now, he was happy to enjoy the peace and quiet like it was an Aroma Veil.

Well, this wasn't what he had expected. Apparently a Wigglytuff had been recently using this spot and did not take kindly to someone else taking it. As it approached, Josh slowly rose to his feet, its' angry "tuff"-ing had alerted him to its presence. "Go, Micken!" Josh called as he brought out his Litten. The Wigglytuff took this as a sign that he was about to attack and hastened its own attack. Double Slap sent Litten flying back, but Josh called for Fire Fang in response.

"Oi!" Josh called to the Wigglytuff. It turned its ire to him, but stopped when it was revealed he was holding up some kind of treat that to a Fairy Type Pokemon? Smelt delectable. It was an experimental blend, but he was giving it a shot.
