All Razz could do was watch as the boss kept beating down on Theo and he didn’t know what to do. Once more he tries to struggle but the man tells him to stop or else it was going to get worse. However he already knew it was a lie, it was going to get bad anyways. He thinks back to one of his parents lessons, about doing anything needed to survive. Anything So once again he moves, but as he does so the man holding him delivers on his promise and breaks it causing him to scream in pain. But with it broken he was able to twist himself enough to his other other arm lose and grab a pokeball and call out his Toxtricity.

There is a click of his tongue and the punk rock pokemon DISCHARGES itself hitting everyone in the bar, trainer included. Some had been able to hind behind a table but for the most part most were fried. The boss too was struck as one of the bolts flung him off the admin the man yelling in pain from the electricity flowing through his body. Despite the pain from his own pokemon Razz clicks his tongue again to use it again, and she would indeed do the Dischargee again, Theo would hopefully be too low for the poison pokemon to get a goos shot in.

[attr="class","beck"]thankfully, theo's too low for the wild DISCHARGE to hit. it simply whizzes past him, and though narrowed eyes he sees sparks of yellow dancing across the room, electrifying everything it touches.

when the attack ends, he manages to lift his head to peer back at raziel, and the mere sight of the young scientist is enough to jolt him up.

finally, he calls out his nidoking, whose presence immediately freezes everyone in the room. not like they were moving much, anyways.

practically crawling over to the young scientist, he reaches out when close enough.

Another cry of pain would come out at the second discharge, but at least he wasn’t the only one as the second discharge got the crew again all their cries of pain out as they weren’t allowed the chance to get their own pokemon out before Razz had his. Most had not fallen to the floor, either in pain or paralyzed. Raziel no different as he was on his knees cradling his now broke arm. ”I’m sorry,” is all he tells the Admin as he crawled over, but at least those around them couldn’t do anything else. [break][break]

Or so he thought.

Hammond however is furious, despite the pain, and the fear in him by the two pokemon in front of them the Gand leader wasn’t going to allow himself or his gang to look like fools. “You little shit!” He could yell out as he takes out his gun and aims for the boy that started this and shoots.

hammond's voice pervades, drowning all else. he expects it but he's barely able to move in time. he shifts and pushes off the ground right as the bang! sounds.

a roar emerges from the brief flash. nidoking materializes, slams against the ground, and it doesn't wait for a click to rush forward. whatever sounds might leave hammond matter little, not when his body is easily crushed by a DOUBLE KICK.

theo drops back to the ground. blood leaks from his left shoulder as he settles against raziel.

Raziel is terrified when the gun was aimed at him, the moment feels like it slows down the moment the gun is shot. He thinks he’s going to die and he’s terrified because he can’t move due to the discharge. This was it, all he could do was shut his eyes and wait for it. But instead of a shot instead he feels a weight collapse on him forcing him to open his eyes seeing Theo on him. But the gun shot? Red eyes scan the other to see the blood in his shoulder, “Sir why?” no fuck the way, “Will you be okay? Do you have your Bayleaf?” he questions because he doesn’t know how else to help the man. And with the Gang around them having been taken down he doesn’t worry about them. [break][break]

Or the leader who has his face smashed in from the double kick.

[attr="class","beck"]adrenaline dulls most of the pain. he struggles against the ground and braces himself against raziel. at the mention of the bayleef, he reaches a hand into his blazer and cracks open a pokeball.

a AROMATHERAPY permeates across the room, overpowering the metallic scent near them. the grass-type peers down at its trainer and the HEAL PULSE escapes without an order.

"raziel."

slowly but surely, the wound starts to close. he'll have to dig the bullet out later.

"are you hurt?"

Raziel does his best to keep the other up, ignoring the screaming pain of his right arm and just focusing on the left to keep the other up. ”I’m fine,” a lie, ”B-but you’re the one that’s been shot, I’m sorry had I just been paying more attention maybe they wouldn’t have gotten behind me and... I’m sorry,” he looks at the paralyze gang around them and he’s not sure if the leader is still breathing after the Nidoking. [break][break]

”Did we fail?” because they didn’t get the money and not their leader was dead

slowly, he rises, then stumbles over to one of the gang members. he brings a heavy foot down across their face, then reaches down to grab at their collar. he tenses under the pain.

"where's the fucking money?"

weakly, he points in two vague directions. dusknoir slinks away, rubbing its grubby hands. he turns and limps back over to raziel. he basically falls to the floor next to him and leans his back against whatever.

Raziel watches in some awe the way the other gets the man to easily submit and answer him. His pokemon looks to him expecting something, ”Just keep an eye on those that can still move,” he orders, the Toxtricity having become more obedient since their previous training. [break][break]

Eye look back at the man who was originally holding him, passed out from the electric shock. “Broken,” and throbbing with pain but he tries to downplay his own especially since the other took a gunshot for him. All he could do is hold his arm in place with his good one. ”But gave me the chance to wiggle out enough to to get a pokeball out, but you were shot are you okay?”

He can’t help but feel that its ‘not fine’ seeing as they ask the Bayleaf for another Heal Pulse. He wants to ask but chooses not to, thinking he’s caused enough troubles. ”I’m also the one that let them get the upper hand though, if I wasn’t here.. or had I paid more attention then... you wouldn’t have had to take a bullet for me,” as usual he focuses on his mistakes rather than what went right.
