Hideo could hear the punch impact the Cradily - but it didn't seem like enough to take down their foe. Once he heard that Giga Drain start again, he knew that was it for this match.

Could've sworn he heard a *click* there, though he didn't know where. And it wasn't important to think about.

His Rotomdex would tell him the outcome anyways, watching as the Seismitoad went limp in the Cradily's grasp - even sticking her tongue out to the side for good measure. "Aaaaaand she's down. Sorry to say it, Hideo, but your first match is a loss!"

Hideo retrieved Swimcoach's Pokeball, pulling in the unconscious Pokemon. He frowned, disappointed that his first match was such a decisive loss.

But the frown didn't last long; it wasn't going to be his only match, and he didn't plan on being a bad sport. "Thanks for the match!" he shouted to his opponent, waving with a smile on his face. "Maybe we can get a rematch sometime!"

But arranging that would have to wait. "Alright, Nosey, onto the next match!" He turned around, making his way back to where he recalled the exit was.

Though he noticed Nosey wasn't floating besides him. "Nosey?"

"Oh, right, sorry!" the Rotomdex said, quickly floating back towards Hideo. He'd been momentarily distracted when he thought he saw a familiar face in the crowd, that League guy from the Meltan debacle. John Sullivan , was it?

Whoever it was, he didn't look happy about how that match went.
