Melody however wouldn't let that happen again as her error caused Noivern to get tackle by the flame charge again into the floor once more, the worry on her face slowly growing more and more apparent as even though his attacks weren't the most effective option against her, the combo of the move and the terrain damage was also slowly building up as well. "Airpod!" she cried out as Noivern let out a screech not the attack move though. The pokemon quickly shoved volcarona off of him and took to the skys again, however he was slower this time. Melody figured if he did that again he'd probably get knocked out. "Dragon pulse! Hurry!" she cried out as Noivern tried to oblige firing a beam of draconic energy at the sun goddess.

Dragon Pulse isn't so easy to dodge. It lands dead center against Solaris's chest, scoring a critical hit that has her reeling in pain.

Xander frowned, "It's okay, Solaris. You got this." and yet he doesn't sound confident in the slightest.

Depression is heavy. He wears it like a crown more often than he'd like.

"Use -" Xander doesn't get to issue the command. Solaris had an attack of her own in mind. One that he'd never seen her use before.

Volcarona's wings move to the beat of the music, flames coiling around her in a wild, Fiery Dance. It's a beautiful sight to behold that leaves Xander's speechless. The current of dancing flame suddenly turns violent, spiraling toward Noivern.

Melody was STAR STRUCK by that sudden performance, everyone was so enraptured by the performance that they barely even noticed that Volcarona managed to hit noivern and cause it to fall down again and get knocked out. "Holy.. WHAT WAS THAT?! I'D NEVER SEEN OR HEARD OF THAT MOVE!" she asked him. [break][break]

However it only lasts for a few moments as her noivern shrieking and hitting the floor and passing out brought her back into the battle. She recalled the pokemon. She had moved onto her next one quickly as she couldn't lose focus forever "Obstagoon! Double edge! GO!" she shouts as she was quickly losing tempo and had to recover. The double-edge empowered by it's ability reckless empowering it even further slammed into the volcarona full force.

Noivern fell, and Obstagoon quickly took its place. Sadly, it's a bit too strong for Volcarona. The Double-Edge takes it out with another critical hit.

Xander frowned as he watched the bug fall to the ground with a thud. "I'm sorry, Solaris." he returned her to her Poke Ball. Defeated in his first gym battle for the whole world to see.

How embarrassing.

"Thank you for the battle, Melody."
