before Siobhan could reply or react, several things happened. mostly the reveal of the Glaceon protecting Ryuuzaki from the Clauncher. he would capture it before the fox could do more harm than good. she would watch, her eyes drifting along the area with some interest. though nothing did really... capture her attention. no Pokemon that she required, anyway.

"you have a medical background" she states with a tilt of her skull "what sort of training?" she was ever curious of another's training in any field. as Siobhan's eyes drifted back to the young man, she waits for his reply. there were various fields in the healing career. he said 'healer' as a broad term, but she knew better than just accepting that.

As Skadi begins to wander off on her own, Ryuuzaki notices the fear exuding from his newest partners and allows them to enter their own pokeballs. They seem relatively young, so he's sure that they're just inexperienced with the laws of nature.

"Used to work in Kanto till it got..." He shrugs, watching as the Glaceon bites into something with an Ice Fang and begins to shake it vigorously. Was that a Sobble? What had it even done to incur her wrath? The vicious look Skadi gives him upon noticing his gaze is more than enough to tell him - It had simply looked at her wrong. He whistles once, hoping to get her off it. Whistles twice when she doesn't respond and simply walks over to pry her jaws open when she continues to throw her tantrum.

The poor Sobble flops to the ground and he's quick to pick it up, keeping it out of Skadi's reach.

"Violence solves nothing, princess. Only use force when you need to."

Of course, she'll give him that bark that indicates her little fit to be a necessity. That's enough to remind him of their differing priorities.

"Anyways, I currently work in a clinic near the Lilycove Beach. Pretty relaxing if you don't have to chase several baby pokemon around for hours on end."

it is a truthful statement, one she lacks embarrassment from. many Rockets saw their Pokemon as tools, and Siobhan was unaware she was speaking to a rare one that actually cared for the beasts. Siobhan observes as he pries the Sobble from the Glaceon but makes no remark upon it. the Glaceon is fierce, and she admires it quietly.

he handled it well enough. that is all she could compliment, for it was true as well. Siobhan smiles a bit warmly, a rarity for her. "perhaps I can assist you a few times? I have spare time between studying and exploring." with the Baby Pokemon, that is. she hadn't much experience with them but... never too late to learn, right?

Having a kind heart aren't the exact words to describe a trained killer, Ryuuzaki muses but he neglects to mention that fact. Instead, he smiles at her offer, temporarily glancing away from Skadi as he catches the Sobble properly.

And perhaps, that's his mistake, a pained cry catching his attention as his eyes snap to the source of the noise. By the rocks, a prideful Glaceon stands over a frozen Croconaw, turning her snout up at him when she realises she's been caught. Grabbing another pokeball, Ryuuzaki taps it upon the poor reptilian ice sculpture, hoping to catch it so he can bring them to a pokecentre later.
