He swears even if he were never to battle again it would all be too soon. Razz is worn down by the tournament even though it's been days since it first started. He was taking a drink of water when someone suddenly approaches, and with the white hair and red eyes he can’t help but do a double take. Feeling as if he were seeing things. Thankfully as the other introduced himself he was. [break][break]

“How are you so energetic?” is what he ends up asking rather than the warm welcome the other seemed to give him. Though small thwack from Salem would remind him of his manners. “Ah-- uhh right ummm…” too busy trying to correct himself he doesn’t recognize just who the other is despite the big name. Nor does he sense the darker intentions the other had. [break][break]

“Hi Kingsman,” wait, “Razz Kingsman,” he corrects himself, “Uhh no real preferences, but I guess a triple would make it a bit faster if you’re interested?”

The younger man pondered for a moment, seeing the trio of pokemon and seeing a particular theme going on. How fun, and it seems like the pokemon were super into it. He should answer in kind then. [break][break]

"Uhh thanks if you’re sure,” the ranger takes out his own team to counter the other, deciding his pokemon might have a more interesting time if there was a similar setup. If they were going to have some famous starters he’ll call some too. Though unlike the other’s pokemon who were in it for the violence, proof was in who he had picked. [break][break]

The other might regret giving them the first move, “Fire and Grass,” he calls out loud before he gives a whistle and together both Olive and Cyder uses a combo of GRASS and FIRE PLEDGE aimed at Sceptile. The fire pledge burns up the grass pledge to give it more power and create a sea of flames on his opponent’s side of the field. [break][break]

The ranger takes a deep breath for himself, trying to keep calm. Another reason for choosing this was to start off small with fire moves. As he knows, eventually he’ll have to work together with Reshiram. So this was a decent, if still not a terrifying start. Thankfully Salem rested on his shoulder to help keep him calm.

Well that was annoying how everything seemed to get out of the way of the fire. His body was tense with it around, but he was taking the breaths he needed. Keeping that day out of his head. With the failed attack it was time to go on the defensive. He gives a whistle for the immediate problem, the HYDRO CANNON while Cynder goes for FLARE BLITZ, the two powerful attacks colliding and exploding on impact. [break][break]

The infernape may get hurt, but the damage would be much less in comparison to what it would’ve been. ”Lapis!” he calls to his sobble and gives a whistle and they use RAIN DANCE to weaken the fire moves both for his pokemon’s benefit and his own. With it Olive counters the inferno around her using WEATHER BALL on the Charizard, and thanks to the rain it would be a water type attack.

The pokemon may be small, but Lapis has been with him for a long time, and Olive has been going hard with all these Star Battles. So despite the powerful moves the other seemed to be pulling left and right. [break][break]

As the LEAF STORM comes Cynder gets in the way of Lapis, and uses FLAME WHEEL in place to create a fiery shield as he tanks the attack but hopefully at least protect them. With it being a grass move it wouldn’t have been as effective. Though after the last attack he was very much hurting. Olive also tanking some of the attack, but she knows this is their time to strike the weakened blastoise. [break][break]

Olive uses GIGA DRAIN on the recharging Blastoise to recover herself. Meanwhile Lapis teams up to attack against them with the use of WATER PULSE. The rainy day giving the water attack a boost.

"Good work," Razz praised, it wasn't something he did often in the middle of battle. But they were up against a tough bunch, and he wants his pokemon to know that he appreciates their efforts. Especially when the confusion has basically brought the Sceptile to their side for a moment. And Razz planed to take advantage of it completely. [break][break]

Thanks to the extra health Olive was able to take the AURA SPHERE, but they would deal with the Blastoise later. Right now there were better targets. "Olive! Lapis!" he calls their names before giving a whistle, "Cynder!" he calls before giving another whistle, each pokemon falling into place as Olive used WEATHER BALL (Water type thanks to Rain Dance) combined with Lapis's WATER PULSE, both using it in combination with the attacking Sceptile on the Chairzard. Hoping the distraction, plus the water's power up thanks to the rain, to either bring it down or get close to it. [break][break]

Meanwhile due to this pain, and getting low on health Cynder's BLAZE activates, powering up his Fire moves. As they go in with a FLARE BLITZ while the Sceptile was focused on their friend to attack from behind. If it hit, they would end up knocking out from the very recoil of the attack, but hopefully they would at least take the grass pokemon with them, or put it on it's last leg. [break][break]

He'd give his team a thumbs up before falling over.

Seeing their friend go down, Lapis was afraid. Afraid of losing, and feeling that their power house was gone. However as he thinks about how it happened. How the Infernape used all of what was left of them to help them. He knows he needs to do the same. With a new resolve in mind there is a glow that engulfs the water type as they evolve further. "Is he angry?" Razz can't help but ask Salem, unsure how to read the other trainer. The meowstic gives him a crazy look on how his trainer could be so blind to things. But he'll give his trainer a 'just a little' gesture. [break][break]

To protect the bulbasaur Lapis gets in the way as between his hands he created a WATER PULSE and sends it to collide against the DARK PULSE. The Rain should hopefully make the Water Attack stronger. While the LEAF STORM hurts, Olive is resistant while Drizzle has new energy to keep going despite the pain. Olive uses SLUDGE BOMB on Sceptile. the bulbasaur following his trainer's whistles to take advantage of the poison weakness, and hopes that Cynder's fire blitz wasn't to waste.

Despite the Sludge Bomb unable to hit it's mark both pokemon were still going to be at it. Drizzle would be hiding behind Olive to try and resist the Giga Drain as much as possible. Meanwhile Lapis goes in for a SOAK to make the sceptile a WATER TYPING. Making it lose any of it's stab moves with grass. And more importantly, making them weak to Bulbasaur. [break][break]

With that Olive would try to gain back the health that was absorb using a GIGA DRAIN herself to try to take back what health she gained back and then some.
