Oscar tilted his head as Jayden seemed to respond rigidly. It's been a while since he had been called sir outside of a mission. Oscar grinned devilishly, this was going to be more fun than he thought. 

Jayden sent out his first pokemon, a Rotom that wasted no time in covering the battlefield with its presence. Oscar pondered the best way to respond before an idea suddenly pushed its way to the front of his brain. He raised a hand to his mouth as he stifled laughter, this would be too funny not to try. 

Oscar pulled a pokeball from his belt and opened it, revealing a rather devious looking Raichu named Pong. Pong was a newcomer to the team, but she had already won Oscar over with her ruthless battle style and charming guile. Oscar threw his hand out as he gave Pong a command, "Double Team!" 

Pong chuckled, and was soon joined by an army of chuckling raichus to match that of the rotom. Oscar folded his arms, waiting patiently for Jayden's next move.

Pong's laughter died down as the Rotoms decided to make their move. Their radiating chatter began to make Pong uneasy, enough so that she was properly distracted enough to take the swift Astonish directly to the chin. With the main Raichu hit, the clones would soon panic and begin to run about aimlessly. 

Their main goal was to disorientate the rotom while Pong Prime recovered. Yet Pong had been thoroughly surprised, causing her to flinch in place and be unable to act. Oscar rolled his eyes, "Of all the silliness, this is what you get for not paying attention!" 

The Pong clones became more active, hopping up and down and dancing in front of Pong Prime in order to hopefully protect her until she was ready to proceed.

A wave of electricity surged over the battlefield, taking out Pong's clones one by one as it rapidly approached Pong Prime. Pong looked up just in time to be thrown back by the wave, electricity surging across her fur. She rolled several feet before landing on her back, popping up to her feet as quickly as she could. Rage filled her eyes, she did not appreciate being made to look like a fool.

Oscar stroked his chin as he smiled coyly. "You gonna take that?" He asked his angry raichu, his tone slightly mocking. "Could have sworn I taught you better, show me what you got!" Pong snarled as electricity popped across her cheeks. Shining bolts built up around her, ascending to a crescendo of pure electric power. 

Pong let out a baneful roar, unleash the electricity at full force with a Discharge of her own.

Oscar clenched his fist as he watched the Rotom short circuit, raising it triumphantly as he smiled. "Excellent work Pong, don't let up! Show them your power!" Pong ran forward, closing the distance between herself and the Rotom slightly. About half way, Pong would leap into the air, coiling into a ball as energy surged around her. 

Static began to curl across the air, Pong pulling it towards her body as she hung mid-leap. As she reached the apex of her air-time, she would uncurl and cry out as the electricity she charged flowed out of her. It created quite the light show, lightning flashing as it arched its way toward the Rotom (Thunderbolt). 

Oscar felt his hair stand on end, making it appear spikier than usual. He would attempt to press it down with one of his hands, not taking his eyes off of the spectacle that took place in front of him.

As Pong lands, the electro ball would indeed throw her back. She cried out as she rolled against the ground, digging her paws into the arena to slide her to a stop. Pong growled, prowling in a circle around the rotom as she thought of what to do next. She only had electric attacks to harm it, which while powerful would need an extra boost if she wanted to beat a fellow electric type. She thought carefully, sizing her opponent up as she waited for them to make their next move (Nasty Plot).

Oscar chuckled as he watched the exchange of attacks, "Smart move putting space between them while Pong recovered. Question is, how will you use the space now that you have it?" Oscar watched intently, excited to see what else Jayden had up his sleeve.

As she heard the opposing trainer's command, Pong would huff in frustration. She prepared herself to blink through the confuse ray, not anticipating the Rotom's disappearing act. By the time she heard its crackling form behind her, it was too late. She turned just in time for the flash to scatter her senses. 

She jumped back, crying out as the world turned into a churning mess. The sounds and scenery were so distorted, she could barely tell what was happening around her. Yet she could still see the smiling form of Rotom, no doubt feeling smug about its success. She growled, attempting to once again fill it with an overwhelming blast of electricity (Thunderbolt).

The sky is illuminated by the discharged electricity, but will she be able to overcome her confusion and hit her target?
