Well, this day had turned out pretty rotten, to say the least. First, he hadn't been able to find a single pokemon to add to his team, and then the Corviknight Taxi he had called got canceled, and no others were available. As if to add insult to injury, it had started to rain after that, meaning he had to put Watson back in his ball. For obvious reasons, the larvitar hated getting wet, and there was little point to them both being miserable. He had begun to consider making the trek to Fortree city to see if there was room at the pokemon center when a stranger with a drampa had approached him. A delivery man, apparently, who had the means to get him back to Slateport.

The sopping wet boy appreciated the dragon type's attempts to cheer him up, but he still looked pretty miserable as he considered what to do. "I can pay you, sir." He said. He didn't have a lot of money, but he could at least give them the cash he intended to pay the corviknight taxi. "I'm really sorry if it'll take you out of your way, but I just need a trip back to Slateport." He explained, "Or you could just drop me off on the other side of route 118, if that's easier!"
