jayden blinks with surprise. an invitation? it is unusual. uncommon. most of the time, people tended to stay away from him.

[break][break] he looks up at the inkay, who was still recovering from the hydro pump. though it had hurt, it had the desired of effect of changing her typing. the inkay raises in to the air, floating lightly, just as the primarina readies another attack. this time, however, inkay is prepared for it. she quickly lifts herself mid-air, just avoiding the attack, before using HYPNOSIS at the other. rings of light arch towards the water type.

the moonblast charges up, bright light swelling, before it pulses and arcs in the air towards his inkay. it slams into the pokemon and though the move is no longer super effective, the hits from before prove to be too much for the inkay. the pokemon slams into the sand, fainted, just as jayden turns away from his conversation.
