Alex originally came from a small family on the outskirts of Saffron City. He was a curious child. Often wandering further than his boundaries with his close friend at his side. At the time, to him, any venture was possible as long as the pair of them were together. However — tragedy struck this sweet little home during the war. In this debacle, the house was caught in flames due to the intrusion of Team Rocket. This caused his parents to unfortunately die. Alongside his only little friend that managed to toss Alex from the swarm of an unforgiving heat. [break][break]
The aftermath was a blur. For someone so young, it was difficult to fathom that everything had been taken from him. Alex was adopted by the Silph family and despite their kind—hearted nature, deep down inside he couldn't let go of the fact that Team Rocket did such a terrible thing. Into his late teens — Alex became involved in an underground fighting industry. Specifically one that didn't involve pokémon but, people instead — and one that was invested with rocket members. He'd earned a name for himself. Becoming a force to be reckoned with and in turn becoming recognized by this dangerous affiliation. Alex managed to join the group at some point with the intention to reach their superior. In hindsight his desire for revenge was becoming close. However, not as close as he'd thought. Rocket wasn't as daft as Alex had been hoping and in the end they discovered his connection to the Silph family. What had seemingly been a mission ended in tragedy. Alex was shoved off the cliff—side with the intention of being killed but instead he'd simply lost all recollection of his previous endeavours. [break][break]
For a brief time, Alex worked as a bar—tender and then eventually became a Gym Leader. However — his connection to his prestigious family made the public question whether or not he was deserving of this title. As such, he left Hoenn behind without so much as a goodbye. Training with various other Gym Leaders across the world and in turn delving into research that involved Ultra Beasts and the tales that revolved around Legendary pokémon. [break][break]
He returns. Although a reticent arrival just as it had been before and stronger than his previous self. He's a explorer of his own regard. Hoping to find some way to salvage the disaster that is festering about Hoenn.
