Everyone of the Skitty were decked out in pink camo. Except for the Delcatty, who had purple camo.

They flooded the field with little Rambo-style outfits. Paint Thinner, the Skitty that was the second in charge after Sprinkles, even had a plastic, toy knife in his mouth for added effect.

We don't ask questions about how this worked since everyone had paws.

A Skitty was 'blown up' much like the Machop, her fur stained red. She dropped to the ground and started to snooze, quickly called back by her trainer.

But... where was Chu-e? John Sullivan's enemy commander seemed to be missing....

His attack was ineffective all around, not touching Ki's numbers even as he attempted to sweep through the pink hordes with the Nerf™ paint-gatling.

"They are too agile! We'll be overrun in at this rate!" Doug shouted at his forces, receiving tense, worried stares as they all moved to act. His gaze swept over the battlefield, swallowing heavily as his gaze fell over a knife totting skitty. "The KITTY SQUEALs... We're doomed...!"

The young man had plopped down at the top of the hill for his last stand against the pink menace, thinking the elevated ground would help them turn things around- but as the skitty swarmed them, it began to seem as though his biggest advantage might be his downfall.

No. She would not let it happen.

Tsuchi the Ariados stepped forth, buggy expression grim as he leapt atop the sandbags.

"No... NO! I can figure this out, you don't have to do this-!" Screamed Doug as the Spider leapt down the hill with a shrill cry, spreading its legs wide and shooting out colorful webbing all over the muddy soil.

Somehow, a stray shot nailed it in the ass as it flew down, toppling its body with a pained squeal scream.

But that was fine. Slowly, its pained grunts turned to chuckles, then laughter as it rolled over onto its back, revealing...!

Hanako the wormadam sticking to the underside of the Ariados chest, donning a full chevlar vest packed with explosives.

"WOR-RU-MAAAA!" She screamed as Doug dramatically held out his hand towards them.



The commander collapsed to his knees, the gatling falling to the floor as tears of paint rolled down his cheeks.

"It should've been me... IT SHOULD'VE BEEN MEEE!" He screamed dramatically, holding out the 'EEE' for a perfectly timed stretch as he slammed his fists onto the dirt. "Three great soldiers, lost... And the enemy leader is still nowhere in sight...!"

He reeled back, screaming.

"KIII! MY MEN (and women, hoenn's is an inclusive military) SHALL KNOW VENGEANCE!"

John Sullivan might have taken a heavy blow by losing two of his team. Yet, it may have been worth it. Not one, not two, but FOUR of the Cat Faction had been taken down. Including one of the heavy hitting Delcatty.

The felines had their own tricks, however. A great yowling would start as the fattest Delcatty anyone had ever seen crawled from over a hill, making her way slowly towards Doug's encampment. She was loaded down with a cartoon-style TNT barrel for of paint... and she wasn't alone. An entire squadron of Skitty was around her plus the last two Delcatty.

And Chu-e... Chu-e was... planning... plotting... prepping....

"Tsuchi, Hanako... Your sacrifice was not in vain." He said solemnly as he gazed upon the hot pink carnage.

"No..." Muttered Doug, wide eyed as a loud yowl cracked through the air, his gaze swiveling away from the bodies of his men and women to stare in horror at the most terrifying thing he had ever spectated upon.

"How... What manner of horrible, mind-breaking training..." He muttered, lips dry, heart beating fast, pure fear coursing through him. " Nobody pushes the payload!"

He scrambled back in horror, his hands waving dramatically at all his soldiers as the absolute mad cat and its entourage encroached upon their base from the nearest hill.

"Shoot! Shoot everything we have! Stooop the payload!" The youth ordered by way of screaming and dramatical arm flailing, palming two paint-hand guns and shooting wildly in the kitties general direction, aiming clearly being a thing for suckers.

His pokemon alternated between lobbing paint grenades without aiming and sobbing uncontrollably, a few of them tripping clumsily while trying to throw far more grenades than they had limbs from and blowing themselves up, large splatters of rainbow paint raising high in the air.

"ACK! WE'RE BEING SABOTAGED!"

Clearly.

What John Sullivan didn't know that what the Cat Army lacked in opposable thumbs, they made up for with coordination and grit.

Many of the Skitty would dive bomb on the poorly aimed grenades, using their adorable bodies to absorb any impact just in case even a drop might have landed on Fat Mama.

The payload was pushed. This would be the end... but of which side, who knew.

The Delcatty, being larger and smarter, would use Wake-Up Slaps on some of the grenades, playing a deadly badminton game with the swarm of bugs.

Grenade explosives went off on every side, the Delcatty returning fire with Doug's own grenades.

"OH MY GOD!" Screamed the youth dramatically as the bombs flew back into his shelter, diving behind another crudely made wall as the explosives painted everything in a rainbow of colors.

Everything.

Walls, grass, dirt, ceilings... Pokemon.

It was absolute carnage.

Hot pink and canary yellow painted the bodies of Ultra the Scizor and Sidon the Gliscor, the two dying in an embrace of acceptance, knowing there was no escape.

Guwa the Pinsir was drapped over the walls, painted in dual colors of magenta and green- one from the Skitty's grenades, one from its own, having collapsed mid-throw attempt after a tragic return fire.

Sasori the Drapion had died standing, two rifles in each hand and Bazooka in tail, its entire body a rainbow of colors. It had refused to fall until the very end.

Lying on the floor, panting hard, hugging tightly his therapeutic snom, Doug wondered how he could have let things get this far, go this badly.

"I... I'll make things right... I'll make things riiight!" Screamed the youth as he stood up, hugging the Snom tightly as he swung to face his remaining men.

Morale was low; they were giggling as they poked their companions' corpses, painting little designs on their walls with their colorful lifeblood...

They were losing their sanity!

"PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER, MEN." He snapped, clapping his hands. "We're all getting through this! It is time to begin our final operation!"

Fat Mama stopped the payload when she was on target. Looks like they hadn't pushed back hard enough or... something. John Sullivan would see a crude finger painting of a Skitty on the side of the TNT box; like those ladies painted on the side of planes, except cute.

The Delcatty and Skitty did their best to duck out of the was as Fat Mama began to slap her tail on the payload.

Fat Mama was taken out by her own bomb. Most of Chu-e's pokemon escaped the blast, except one unlucky Skitty who wasn't fast enough.

"Damn you, Ki. Damn you to h-!!!"

His life flashed before his eyes. And then the world went rainbow. The shockwave slammed into his body and sent hurtling back through the base as a blur moved.

He could not see what it was. All he knew for that moment, was death.



He gasped back to life a lifetime (or about 10 seconds) later, before wheezing as he felt a great weight atop him... and then froze when his hands grasped at the shape atop his body. He sniffed.

"No..." He muttered, before moving off him the body, hiccuping at the sight. "WAMU! NOOO!"

His Scolipede had shielded him and Snom with its own body. From head to toe, it was covered in every color of spectrum... a snoring canvas of death.

The rest of his soldiers... were not much better off.

Despite his promises to get them all through yet... He alone remained in the blasted remnants of his former base, surrounded by the bodies of his men.

There was nothing left.

No soldiers. No friends. No reasons.

Only violence.

And Snom.

"AAAH!" tore out of the youth's mouth as he grasped one of his men's discarded guns and shot, shot, shot the kitties surrounding him, his Snom hugged tightly against his chest!

If it was an action movie, this is when the Skitties would have started to drop.

The Delcatty, too.

A carnage left behind.

One of the Skitty drops a grenade, which bounces at John Sullivan as the Skitty falls.

Yet even in all of this.

One remains.

Paint Thinner hides and waits.

He threw Snom away as the grenade smashed into his face.

His body was thrown back (by himself), landing spread eagled across the floor with face painted a bloody red, wheezing for breath.

His head slowly turned towards his poor snom, consciousness fading as he spoke.

"R- run... Live...!" He sputtered out, his face scrunching up in disgust as he spat out paint. "Ah, gross!"

Two One man remained...

Even if Snom tried to inch away....

Paint Thinner was there.

The plastic knife dripped with pink paint, the lifeblood of his enemies.

A deadly staring contest.

The knife... dropped.

Paint Thinner walked over and tried to pick up the Snom in his mouth and run away with him!

See, at Chu-e's home... he also had a Snom. One that Paint Thinner would often pick up and carry around.

It seems a NEW battle had started.

It surged through him like lightning, overpowering the amnesiacs in the paint as he saw his worst enemy (not really) run with his baby, his SNOM...

"No..." Doug uttered, before his face scrunched up, eyes growing wide.

The youth grabbed a pen out of his pocket before stabbing it into his thigh, screaming as he jumped back to his feet, sprinting after Paint thinner madly.

There is a moment where Paint Thinner stares, instead, at John Sullivan with the Snom in his mouth.

His tiny feet carry him across the battlefield with incredible speed. Right towards... the enemy camp....

An ominous wind would blow as the battle lines were crossed.
