Friends. In all truth, he couldn't think of a single person he'd call a friend that wasn't either too weird for her or probably a fed. Her laugh reminded him that she had just as rich an inner life as him. That he needed to resume eye contact and be present. "Yeah. They sure are something."

He thought about it for a minute. Dying his hair again. He probably couldn't, given his circumstances. "...Yeah. It's interesting... I think I still have the bleaching kit, but I forgot the dye bottle when I moved."

She pushed him away, but turned a deep red in the process. A laugh escaped as well. He shook his head, and laughed a little, but he blushed at her joke. "You're right. Your hands are so soft."

"well, I'm at least glad they're soft" Alice says to him, a creeping smile appearing as she felt self conscious about how sweaty they may or may not be. Giona's hands were soft too, but a bit rough at the same time. like he did hard labor for work "though yours are warm." she adds, gladdened for that.

she felt her hands were quite ice cold at times. a perk of handling and training ice-types. Alice liked both hot and cold. water was like that. it could be scalding and cruel; but also cool and gentle. "but" she would also add "we forgot to eat the sweets almost!" her eyes shifting regretfully from his face to the box she had brought.

"come on, I'll help you clean up" Alice says brightly, leaning forward to give him a gentle and quick smooch on the cheek before untangling herself.
