Captain Skyler Dross doesn't really know how she got there in the first place, but now that she's all but been shoved her into the arena she has no option other than stay for the battle. Apparently, someone had made Skyler Dross keychains, and now she was gaining some notoriety - much to her displeasure.

She finds her partner quickly, grinning lopsidedly as she reaches her hand out for a handshake.

"Skyler Dross, ship captain and treasure hunter." A pause, silver eyes looking around. "So, who are we going to destroy?"

Pryde takes a look around the stage the app has brought him to. Telling him that he was going to participate in a tag battle with some woman. skyler dross as he introduced herself, Pryde would give a small smile, pretending to be the good guy. "Dr. Lloyd Kvar," he introduces himself as he shakes her hand with his metal one. Red eyes only pause as music starts to play, and the lights go bright. [break][break]

"I HOPE YOU'RE BOTH READY FOR PAIN! BECAUSE YOU'RE BOTH GONNA BE HURTIN' ALL TOO SOON!" a brawny man calls out from the other side of the ring calling for an early victory for himself. They had what seemed to be a wrestling match, and were on the prowl for a win.

"Sure." Even though she knows he won't feel it, Captain Dross squeezes the metal under her palm with her usual strong grip. It's the spirit of the thing, after all. "Pleasure to meet you, Dr Kvar. Been to many of these?"

Her eyes only linger for a comparatively small span of time on the guy's features, but it is enough for the skin between her eyebrows to crease in a frown. A niggling feeling at the back of her head pops up, but before the ship captain can examine it, a voice startles her out of her thoughts.

... A wrestling match?!

Skyler Dross grins, rolling her shoulder back and visibly brimming with confidence. Only when their opponents bring out pokemon does Skyler realize that they aren't actually going to fight the other humans. Whoops.

With a click, the elegant shape of Miyagi materializes in front of her. Ready to fight.

Pryde just raises a brow at one of their opponents, finding them to be a bit off. Though it could just be his disinterest with the style of the sport they wanted to emulate. He picks out a ghost pokemon of his all for an big old 'X' to come up on the screen behind him and the treasure hunter. "Nuh-uh-huh!" the wrestler members, "Rules in this court house says Fighting Type pokemon ONLY!"[break][break]

"There is no such rule-"[break][break]

"UH YUH HUH!" another voice says as from the ceiling comes another fighter. This one has a mask and a judges robe on "I am the judge here! And da rules are the rules old man!"[break][break]

"That isn't-" Another 'X' appears with a loud horn sound. "STILL WANNA ARGUE!?" Pryde narrows his red eyes at them. "I'm going to kill them," he grumbles, his voice a little more serious for a throw away joke. For now Hitmonlee takes the stage along with his tag team partner.

"Is it me or are these guys a little bit..." Out of their minds. Crazy. Slightly deranged-looking. "... Weird?" Skyler leans into Dr. Kvar just slightly to convey her words without being overheard by their adversaries. For a moment she worries that her ally won't have a fighting type to battle with - which would be an awfully anticlimatic way to lose a battle.

But then the Hitmonlee enters the fighting ring and Skyler releases a silent sigh of relief. Still empty, the other half of the wrestling ring doesn't stay that way for long. Two equally bright flashes of light soon reveal a Medicham and a Hawlucha, and immediately Skyler's eyes narrow. It doesn't escape her notice that that both of those species have secondary types that are strong against fighting...

"Miyagi, get ready!" Closing her eyes, Miyagi focuses on their enemies, using CALM MIND to prepare for any possible attacks made against her.

"They have a few screws loose but they're not entirely imbecilic," he comments quite annoyed with what they brought out. This whole area a trap for them to use to their advantage. Especially as the crowd seemed to cheer for their two favorite wrestling pair. [break][break]

For now all he gives is a whistle for the Hitmonlee to use HIGH JUMP KICK. Two which the Halucha just flies away avoiding them. Casing the kicking pokemon to take Recoil Damage as it hits the ground.

Skyler isn't entirely sure of the legality of this whole situation, but there's little to be done now, and to be fair she's never worried before about what was legal - and what was not. Having the crowd cheer against them was slightly annoying, however.

"Miyagi, get 'em." No specific attack was called out, Skyler trusting her experienced pokemon to know how to deal with a wrestling match.

Shifting her body just so she was in a fighting position, the Mienshao would then shape a small ball of energy between her paws, hurtling the AURA SPHERE towards the Medicham. And although it does hit the other pokemon, Medicham doesn't appear too affected by it. Instead, it COUNTERs the impact with a devastating punch aimed at the Mienshao.

Tch how annoying these two were. The Hawlucha ends up hitting with a FLYING PRESS, but Hitmonlee stands strong if not annoyed. The two wrestlers kept throwing some trash talk. Though he wasn't in the mood for it. [break][break]

Their adversaries' annoying talk fades into the background as Skyler fully realizes the whole setup. Stop anyone else from using anything other than a fighting type, then use those with a secondary type strong against fighting. That went beyond fighting dirty. That was cheating.

Miyagi falls down onto the ground, rising up before Medicham can hit her with anything else. She launches herself at the Medicham to hit him in the face with a DRAIN PUNCH, only to be caught off guard by a ZEN HEADBUTT that knocks her to the ground again.

'These fuckin' bastards...'

Hitmonlee puts up a WIDE GUARD for both himself and the other fighting type as the pokemon realizes what's going on. He hears his master snap his fingers and know what it means. Though since attacking the trainers was out of order, they would still go where it hits the pride. [break][break]

They would look over toward their partner as the point to the ring and then smash their fist together hoping they understood their intentions.

Skyler watches as her ally's Hitmonlee goes for the ring. She likes what she sees. She goes for it. There's no way Captain Skyler Dross is going to play by the rules when they were deliberately made to have her lose.

"Gotcha, Dr. Kvar."

If she's going out, at least it'll be in style.

"Miyagi, forget about Medicham." Looking confused, Mienshao soon notices Hitmonlee's gesture also. Following the cue, Miyagi lets out something like a battlecry, sending a powerful AURA SPHERE at the ring around them, destroying part of the railing and showering them in debris.

Around them, everyone gasps in shock. Skyler, however, grins widely.

"Its unbecoming to just let your opponent in on your plan," Pryde comments, though he doesn't disagree with it at all. One of the other's pokemon tries to stop them but Hitmonlee ends up pulling a REVERSAL. [break][break]

"YO YO YO! YOU CAN'T DOO THIS SHIT ITS ILLEGAL!" one of them yells as the aura sphere hits the ring. If their eyes were covered there would be visible tears at their hard work being undone.

"You're illegal." Not the greatest comeback, but it would have to suffice.

The captain doesn't let Dr. Kvar's admonition bring her down; she's far too used to being told stuff like that, and ever far more used to ignore it. "Like they could stop us." They probably could, but not before Skyler could do a whole lot of damage.

Miyagi finds herself face to face with the Medicham again, but instead of attacking him, she dodges the punch that comes her way and uses the remaining railing to jump up and use REVERSAL on the mat, breaking the whole structure underneath. Utterly destroyed.

Beneath Skyler and everyone else, the floor gives way. Skyler grins like a fool, giving the stern Dr. Kvar a thumbs up just before jumping away from the destroyed wrestling ring.

Pryde is going to look at his 'partner' in crime at her pitiful attempt at a comeback. A judging look that all father's seemed to share, as his eyes just seem to ask 'really?' because that was just sad. It wasn't like he had any better though, but that was more because he allowed actions to speak louder. With a BRICK BREAK Hitmonlee finishes his task before he use4s one of the four poles to aim and kick at it at one of the trainers. [break][break]

The doctor gives another snap, and the pole just ends up narrowly missing them. Though the fear was clear at had it just been a few inches closer it would've been deadly. Though it wasn't like they could prove he ever aimed for them. [break][break]

Kvlar just smiles, "Have a good day gentlemen"
