one last battle and then prince will probably be going home. they've spent enough time here, they're tired, their pokemon are tired. and it's too hot, and they've taken enough time off at the flower shop; not to mention they missed being inside where it was cool and they didn't have to deal with a crowded-ass beach.

Chu-e is grumpy.

He's had a lot of battles today and he's ready to go home.

His bones ache. His stomach hurts from drinking too much soda. His head hurts from a migraine coming on.

Poor prince garrido won't know what hit him.

He's in line for the underwater battles, a wetsuit in hand and borrowed Wailmer for them to Dive with.

Chu-e just nodded and hopped on the back of the rented Wailord. This battle would take place underwater, which was kind of weird, but thanks to the Dive bubbles made by the little whales their pokemon would be able to fight underwater.

You know, cause neither person really had many underwater pokemon and all.

The first one Chu-e sent out was his Poipole. The little bugger was always eager and energetic so he hoped it would tire him out some.

this was awkward as fuck and the last thing prince wanted was to ride on the back of a wailord. but, okay, he didn't have much time to complain about that because they were underwater and now he had to deal with the discomfort of that. if he never saw a fucking beach again, it'd be too soon.

in response to the poipole, price was pulling out his swirlix. only because he only had fairy types. Chu-e Choi was lucky in the fact that he didn't.

The Poipole cackled, which was made much more creepy by the water distorting it.

Yet, it didn't waste any time, the shiny pokemon trying to get in close to try a Poison Jab on the Swirlix. Not off to a good start for prince garrido.

oh, prince hated that cackle. the stuff of nightmares, especially because of the water.

even as the poison type gets closer, swirlix tried to use fake tears, a moment too late. the fairy type was less experienced than prince's others, so even if they lost, it would be experience. which...considering their losing streak today, was likely.

Since the Poipole was so close from using the Poison Jab, he laughed his creepy laugh again and tried to swing around to use an Iron tail on the poor Swirlix. There would be no mercy under these waters.

Chu-e did clap for Chunks, which made the little devil preen in delight.

the poipole does it’s creepy ass laugh again, and prince has to stop himself from making a remark about how he hates it- the look on his face probably says enough, though, even if he doesn’t actually look at Chu-e Choi .

iron tail, too, hit its target, and the fairy type held on for an attempt to use draining kiss, and just because i need the endeavor for it.

The Poipole makes a 'bleh' face at the kiss, but thankfully it doesn't do that much.

In return, he tries to use another Poison Jab on the Swirlix. That would teach it for kissing him and stuff!

the move hits, but between it not being very effective and being poisoned, it doesn’t do much for the swirlix. the second poison jab is what does her in, and she faints with a water-distorted cry. reaching back to pull her into her pokeball, prince hesitates for a moment, finally glancing up at Chu-e Choi. ”is that it?” a part of them hopes it isn’t, hand lingering on their mawile’s pokeball, but at the same time...
