this poor mawile is just the victim of being confused everywhere it goes. this is the second time, but at least knows the moves he’s going with. sure, he was also kicking prince‘a Pokémon’s asses with his own, but at least they weren’t losing to someone who didn’t know move names again.

The Crunch hit but see, the secret to Bruxish was she had Strong Jaw. And she was also a Cruncher.

A Crunch was given back to the Mawile, her jaws grinding even if she managed to miss.

the crunch hit, more easily than it should have if the mawile hadn’t been confused. and, in response, the pokemon flinched back, trying desperately to get away from the grinding jaws of the bruxish.

which meant prince couldn’t do much. this was absolutely not a battle he’d win.

Beauty was ready to keep on chomping, swimming forward to not give the Mawile any leeway.

surprise, surprise— this time, when the attack hit, mawile also fainted. it was met with just a little annoyance, mostly because prince had hoped their Pokémon would hold on longer, but they suppose they’re tired, too. they can’t exactly blame them.

”last round, then.” mostly because both and prince only had one more pokemon. recalling the mawile, they released their sylveon, who was much more irritated at having to battle than his previous teammate.

Chu-e called back his Bruxish and sent out his shiny Lopunny.

Creams winked at the Sylveon.

Chu-e took no prisoners this time as well.

He tapped the daith piercing in his ear and suddenly she was Mega evolved lopunny, ready to kick ass and take names.

This time, he would let have the first move.

from the way the lopunny had winced, prince has done something right— which doesn’t bring much satisfaction, because quartz is being hit with fire punch before he can dodge. and, because of prince’s luck, it comes with a burn.

Creams does her best to fight through the stars in the water, taking every one, to try and hit another punch on the Sylveon - this time a Dizzy Punch.

Her power was tremendous like this which was cool as hell for her.

to his credit, quartz at least managed to get a good hit in on the lopunny before the fight was over.  and, considering how well the others had fared, prince could be proud of him for that; especially since the sylveon doesn't particularly care to fight. one hand half-resting on his pokeball before he even faints, prince waits for the moment he does so they can recall the fairy type.
