Wait. What? Did that Charizard just evolve further? Vio had never seen a mega evolution before, so she was more or leas floored momentarily. Guardevoir was doing a little better though. As she saw that light and flung a heart at the Charizard, defensively trying to at least lesson the impact of whatever might come next.

Which was a Flamethrower that she barely escaped, mostly. Some of it hit her still though, causing that white skin to burn just a little. Not good. “You don’t look very afraid. But what the heck is that… thing? Is that even still a charizard?”

New? It definitely seemed new. And pretty overpowered. The Guardevoir tried to somehow stand against it, but she couldn’t overcome something like that, especially not without a defensive move available right the. She tried to Psychic the fire type, but ultimately failed at that, since the damage was just too much. Vio swiftly recalled it.

“That… certainly is something else entirely. I am not sure how that even is still battling when other Pokemon can suddenly still evolve further,” she grumbled, annoyed, but it could not be helped, a loss was just a loss. “I should get my hands on something like that, too. Maybe one of my Pokemon can do it too.”
