Doug scoffed at Calliope Marks's warning, rolling his eyes good-naturedly before grinning cockily. "Oh come on, I've been doing this since I was a kid! I know how to control it, promise!"

It would not be until after Sootopolis' fall that the tragedy of FERNANDO SILPH's dinner would strike and Doug would (ineffectively) swear off alcohol for good.

For now, the youth was ready to drown himself in liqueur! Unfortunately, his friends were not quite ready to let him. COWARDS!

"Alright, alright! Water's fine too." He sighed as he was handed a glass, courtesy of Eva Morales. As he had no money at the moment, he could only drink whatever his friends (and in the bar, technically adult guardians) got him.

As he sipped from his glass, MATIAS SILPH spoke. At the tease, his brow twitched, before the youth chugged back the entire glass like a shot and slapped it atop the counter, grinning competitively at the man.

"Da heck? Pretty sure I already beat'cha, fourth place!" The youth teased right back. "Ya sure ya want me to do it again while yer girlfriend's watchin'?"
