Its been a bit since his last battle in the Star Tournament with Avatar Zac Ramsay. Since then he's has quite literally been handless since then. Having to rely on his pokemon a bit more than usual with it. Though it wasn't a bad time seeing as he used the time to talk with Walsh and his ideas. Allowing him his new position despite the fact that he might need more time. [break][break]

Though at least now he had the proper access to recourses. "Keep it steady," he would comment to his Reniclus as the ditto held something in place for the new hand he was building. For now preferring to work during a time where most of the scientist weren't there.

She’d yet to meet the new head scientist, having been busy and in the process of moving some things from her home laboratory back into the HQ labs. This was… what, the third time now? Something like that. Plenty of new things, though. Much of her team had been bewildered by all of it and left with little explanation—for now.

Taking a break, she’d made herself a coffee and sought out Pryde, finally. He wasn’t too hard to find via assistants. Her low heels clicked on the floor with a light echo to give away her approach.

She stopped short with plenty of berth for him to hopefully not be startled with such a project in his hands—whatever it was. It sure did look cool.

“Don’t mean to interrupt, but I don’t think we’ve met yet. Congratulations on your promotion.”

The rotom in his arm spoke to alert their master. Having been programed for self defense, and protection, the Rotom knew to give a much bigger alert when the scientist was at his most venerable. Red eyes look back to see who had interrupted just to see the rumored Lulu Flint. [break][break]

So this was who he'd be working with. [break][break]

"No worries about it, its good for us to meet" Pryde offers a friendly smile as well as a joke, "I'd offer a hand but I've only one to spare"

Something in her body tensed at the robotic voice.

Rotom.

Had Tempest Quinn actually not been lying to her after all? Did all the new Rotom belong to the new head scientist? It now seemed like a pretty good possibility. That was fucked up, but we’d have to deal. As Cillian Quinn would say: for science.

“Ah. That’s okay.” His smile was returned, a bit forcefully (only due to the ghost present, otherwise he seemed very nice so far).

Her head then inclined a little bit towards his project.

“Pryde, right?” It was rhetorical. “Mind if I have a peek? Looks intriguing.”

Had Pryde noticed the flinch he would've questioned it. However he had long since looked back at his work after the welcome. His new hand took focus he rather pay attention. He would allow his Rotom to let him know if the other was planning something. [break][break]

"Of course," he does lean back some as he touches the screens on the table. From it holograms of a blueprint of his new hand while he allowed his pokemon to work. "In need of a new hand as Tapu Bulu's Avatar had my old one," he comments simply as he adjust his glasses. The old man seeming to talk of the loss of his hand as if casually talking about the weather.

Pryde would likely catch on soon enough to her distaste of ghosts, either by his own perception or through the help of any one of her cackling assistants.

She approached and watched the hologram rise interestedly, taking a sip of her coffee as she stood next to him.

Tapu Bulu? Zac Ramsay ? What were the chances?

“Took your hand?” He spoke about it so casually. What do you say to that? “…”

“I’ve also been attacked by Tapu Bulu’s Avatar. Seems like a bit of a problem.”

Attack maybe wasn’t exactly the word… but, that’s what we were going with today.

The older scientist just shrugged nonchalantly with amusement. "What can I say he disarmed me."[break][break]

Who said he didn't have a sense of humor? After laughing a bit at his own joke he does give a raise of the brow, "Really? How so? The man hardly seems like the violent type, competitive, but not violent."

Lulu didn’t laugh. Maybe Pryde actually had a better sense of humor. In fact, she looked a little mortified, simply staring at the hologram and taking another grim sip of her coffee.

How did she explain the happenings? Maybe she didn’t. Maybe she just cut to the important details.

“I was on a mission and he tried to trap me with his…” She had to consider terminology for a split section. “…foresty bullshit and grass, or whatever the hell.” She gave a wave of her hand. He knew what was talking about, right?

Despite the lack reaction to his joke he doesn't pay her much mine. "Test A-04," he simple says as the Rotom in the arm powers it up, then through the interface Pryde tries to control the new hand. While it seems to move up and down it's all it seems to be doing. Not to mention a plate coming off. "Wrong," he comments to the Reuniclus and it appears scared because of the mistake. [break][break]

He'll point toward the blueprint again the psychic pokemon taking it apart. [break][break]

"I don't know the name of it, but from what has been recorded each Tapu Avatar is capable of creating a terrain that does something different. I suppose his is to create a forest, where was this at?"

The Rotom did as told with no apparent issues. She watched, wary but curious. Perhaps working alongside them didn’t have to be so bad—as long as she didn’t catch one of them possessing one of her machines uninvited, like the refrigerator incident that one evening with oscar clayton .

His assistants had been incorrect. The Reuniclus’s fear went unnoticed by Lulu, her attention still remaining on the arm—and the Rotom inside it. This was the kind of invention Lulu didn’t typically let Pokémon near.

To each their own.

“That’s correct. I’ve seen Zac Ramsay pull more than one tree out of the ground in a matter of moments.” She shook her head. “These were more like… vines, maybe. It was at the glass shop.” If he knew, he knew. It had been mostly exploded, and there had been deaths—caused by her. “It was a mess… but never mind all that.”

“So, you’re settling in well?” To his position, that is.
