It’s been a long day, but that’s not a bad thing at all.

Mars chuckles at the response, holding back a teasing joke as he dries off with the towel that is then left around his neck – if only because his hair remains somewhat wet, and because the question makes him pause and forget all about what he was doing.

Still from within the bathroom, he looks at Cian.

”...Yeah, I do.” With this, there is a faint smile.

”If you want to.” He adds, because the last thing Mars would ever want would be to make Cian feel pressured into doing something he wouldn’t like.

Is he being too cautious? Maybe, maybe not.

Regardless, he steps forward, placing a quick kiss at Cian's cheek before walking past him, into the bedroom.

It is much more intimate than before.

Which is kind of strange to think about, considering that only a day has passed since the last time Cian stayed over at the penthouse.

A day during which they shared a lot. One full of new experiences, where they learned much about each other, where they spoke of feelings Mars had really thought he would never again speak of.

It’s a lot, and he’s too tired to think about things like those, so he appreciates Cian’s words.

They’re met with a chuckle. ”Oh, sure, I’ll make you breakfast. I hope you’re ready to have the delicious and impressive gourmet delicacy that is cereal.” He smirks, because of course it’s a joke. For Cian’s sake, he can do much better than cereal – maybe some French toast.

There's so many things he wishes he could say, and so many more he still has questions and doubts about, but for now, joking about breakfast when heading to bed is perfect, and he needs no more than that.
