but the alcohol in them pretty much makes the glass clean, right?

but before he can say anything else, he's punched in the gut. he gasps; wind suddenly knocked out of him as he slumps over. naturally, he reaches a hand out to support himself, finding her arm.

"...you're lucky i didn't throw up."

despite the pain and discomfort, he still laughs, then slowly stands back up. he doesn't quite let go, however.

It’s kind of silly, since if they wanted to they could just keep talking and spend time together without drinking. But, of course, that doesn’t seem to occur to either of them... maybe because they’re too drunk to think of it, or maybe because the time they spend together is usually an obligation.
