Golly Gee, Robin had never realized how good of a cook she actually was!

With a pleased croon, the ghost owl spread her wings wide before releasing a cutting storm of leaves, cleaving to pieces several pieces of lettuce, tomato and onion, amongst other ingredients one would find within a burger, before sweeping them all up in the storm's gale to bring them unto the awaiting bread.

All that was left was for maverick noah ryder's fire punch to cook the meat!

A fruit flan! Michi loved dessert—that was why she had an Appletun!

With the apples for the flan soaking in tart Apple Acid, Michi patted Negisa the Farfetch’d on the head comfortingly. The duck Pokémon’s leek was still in the wash to remove the cheese residue, so it had had to use an actual knife to CUT the fruit up. Negisa didn’t seem happy about it one bit, but Michi thought the onion smell would probably have come through into the apples, so perhaps it was for the best!

Michi checked the fridge for ingredients for the Pachirisu Float and realized they were all out of ice cream. “Ah! Tallulah! Please can you tell Chef Branes we are out of stock? We can’t do the Pachirisu Float!” Michi said, turning to @tallulah. She seemed earnestly disappointed, but after the lunch rush they’d just had, it was no surprise they were running low on stock.

Michi hoped the customer with the Pachirisu Float wasn’t too angry. She would have to have faith that Chef Branes could smooth it over. There was no time to worry or feel guilty for long, because the next order was already on its way!

Another Rowlet Pizza— those were popular! Michi knew the process by now—she scraped out one of the fresh dough balls rising in the cooler and handed it to Baja to FLING across the kitchen to maverick noah ryder . Michi trusted the man to finish the pizza, sensing her particular Pokemon were needed elsewhere. She went to check on the rice and had an unpleasant shock.

“The rice cooker is broken!” she cried, dismayed. Were they going to have to disappoint another customer? But her Rolycoly was already on the job, steam issuing from its round rocky body in waves of delicious-smelling charcoal. The rice would be cooked in no time! Michi put a lid on Rolycoly and the uncooked rice and sighed, dabbing at her forehead with a Hello Skitty handkerchief.

The Lunch hour was showing its fearsome power now in full.

So many orders, so little experience or time! Gwyar and his pokemon ran around like headless chickens trying to get the uncountable orders and ingredients to their proper places, but it never seemed to be enough!

So this... this was the fearsome battlefield of a Restaurant! He was not worthy to stand there just yet...!

Chaos dominated the kitchen as pokemon and chefs alike flew all over the place in a rush, their overconfidence having proven their undoing in choosing the coveted lunchtime as their timeslot.

A hole was torn through the ceiling as a Hawlucha suddenly rammed through and into the floor, slamming a sack of fresh ingredients straight from the fields of Sinnoh into the floor and nearly throwing Gwyar through a wall in the process.

"THE INGREDIENTS ARE HERE!"

Where were these Pokemon coming from?! Michi covered her head and tried to shield the bowl of pancake batter she was whisking as drywall rained down from the ceiling. "Please use the back door next time!" she said faintly, not meeting the Hawlucha's eyes.

Her Pokemon worked together in sync--Sammie and Snommie used HELPING HAND to summon two ghostly hands on either side of Shiho the Horsea, who needed the extra appendages. It was Horsea's job to FLIP TURN to flip the pancakes so they were golden brown on both sides while Ikaring the Inkay made sure each flapjack was FLATTER than the last. With one more U-TURN from Jumpluff, the entire stack of pancakes was assembled and ready to go!

The waffles were now up to @tallulah ! A cute little visiting Skwovet sat on the window ledge, eager to STUFF ITS CHEEKS with any burned or misshapen waffles. It was all a learning process!
