It was getting close to the end of the night. And it wouldn’t be a crazy not, if the orders didn’t come in like there was no tomorrow. His gaze flickered over the order list, letting out a long sigh. He quickly recalled a few of his creatures, only to summon in more as he worked in a fury to get things done. It was yet another creature he never thought he would use. The shiny hatterena moved about the kitchen like a dancer, each movement with grace and elegance. With aid of her PSYCHIC and her MAGIC POWDER, the pair managed to help get the chocolate cake out in no time flat.

Michi began to work on the Bouncy Brionne Soda that had been ordered.
Boomy the Goomy and Tuxedo Sam the Piplup filled the water with BUBBLE and BUBBLEBEAM.

Charmmy Skitty sang a beautiful lullaby (SING) through a straw, filling the soda with even more bubbles.

Last, MyMelody the Scorbunny took the soda in both hands and shook it up vigorously, increasing the carbonation with every BOUNCE.

The cake had been finished by everyone else!

How had she ended up at the drink station? It was so stressful! Thirsty people were so impatient! Michi was growing increasingly more and more frazzled as the day went on. Her lovely Pokemon Bodega Mix was becoming less and less of a relaxing hobby.

After maverick noah ryder 's torkoal roasted the tea leaves, a blobby blue Phione (LOL) squeezed its way out of the tap and used WHIRLPOOL to create a whirlpool of roasted tea latte above them.

Customers applauded and oohed and ahhed as Michi's Drifloon used SWALLOW to suck the spinning tides of Tea Latte into a glass.

Now they just needed Gwyar Wledig to TRACE it!

The mass of berries within the broken box trembled, and after a moment, a Gardevoir stumbled out, looking slightly confused as she glanced around, before her eyes settled on Michiko and her pokemon as they prepared lattes.

Brimming curiosity as she cooed, the psychic type crawled her way towards them before propping herself over the counter, eyes shining purple as she stared at the tea and breathing in deeply, smiling. Her maid training led to her committing it all to memory... And her trace ability allowed her to immediately replicate it, tothe amazement of the crowd!

Meanwhile, Gwyar's Drifloon took in the fires of the kitchen to empower itself, before using the blazes to help with the preparations the Oranguru continued to order!

In a blink of an eye, the order out and done. But the night was still young, another order came in just as fast as they got the other out. Maverick cursed under his breath, feeling the pressure as he summoned out more pokemon to help them get the job done.

His first order was yet again, a compliment to his fire type dominance. The shiny torkoal grinned at his trainer, delighted to help in any way he could. “Help me roast the top of these drinks please.” The fire and rock type nodded. The top of his shell got red hot and soon, a LAVA PLUME helped get a nice roast on the latte. “Great work!” Honestly, he was surprised that worked so well.

Maverick’s attention then turned to the next order, looking to his very tall dragon and grass type that clearly didn’t fix in the kitchen. It only smiled, moving to use BARRAGE on the moco when asked. Even the pokemon he borrow helped, using DIZZY PUNCH.

It was almost closing time. How many more orders left?

Just an hour… just an hour left. He can make it. He can make it. He felt exhausted. At this rate, Maverick never wanted to cook again. Not for no one. Sorry Eva.

The last order came through. This was it. Maverick moved about the kitchen the best he could. Once again, he was impressed by this Michiko was a god. She told Maverick what to do and the man happily obeyed. Doing his best not to get in the way while at the same time, doing his best to be helpful. And as soon as the last order was send out, the scarred man let out a breath of air. He offered a smile to his co workers, even giving a thumps up.

It was time for a nap.

The lunch rush was finally over. Michi toddled over to a chair and sat down, breathing hard.

Who had known that Chef Branes' cafe would be so popular in the middle of the day? Word on the street was that even the Commissioner had stopped by, though Michi hadn't had time to even say hello! If she'd known that was who was buying Pancham Fried Rice and Cheesy Rowlet Pizza, she would have put in a little more effort!

"It is amazing," she said, summoning some last vestige of energy to congratulate her coworkers. "We... did it!"

At that moment, the bell on the door jingled. Michi looked up, surprised. A man trailing a strange purple mist and a mysterious condition entered the store.

Something was strange. Off.

Michi hurried to help him sit down, handing the miracle cure recipe urgently to her Pokemon and fellow coworkers.

Kyuri the Pyukumuku quickly PURIFIED the ingredients-- any toxins would surely make the man's conditions even worse. While Kyuri was purifying, she secretly slipped in a CURIOUS MEDICINE she'd bought from a sketchy Galarian Slowbro in the back alley. With a little NEUTRALIZING GAS ( Gwyar Wledig ) infused into the potion/custard while it set in the cooler, the man would be fixed up in no time.

Fortunately (just in case eating custard wasn't enough to fix his medical problems) Michi had more healing Pokemon than she knew what to do with. Dango the Blissey stood next to the man while he ate his slice of custard, hitting a comforting HEAL BELL close to his head to make him feel better. HoneyMomo the Audino stood on the other side, clinging to his elbow so that the full power of her HEALER ability flowed into him.

Even though she was tired, Michi still thanked the man and Chef Branes for letting them help out today. "It was an honor!" she exclaimed. The restaurant needed a quiet space for the blonde man to rest, so they closed the door and sat down to relax.

What's this? Chef Branes had given them permission to break out the wine?!
