he resolves to look the man up after this task. pre-adventuring days were basically a large knowledge gap, as he was busy with other things. no room to put his head in the clouds, not until recently.

"only if you promise to come to mine."

lips quirk upwards into a half-smile, as his eyes turn upwards. despite the thin air, it was fresh, and hit his lungs differently than the city air.

"how long ya think until we get to where we're going?"

greyson chuckles, reaching into his coat to remove a pokeball. in the remains of crimson light, a salamence stands. he approaches the dragon and pats it on the back of its scaled neck.

"i'll race on ahead and make sure there's nothing waiting, then, maintain the perimeter. just signal me when you're ready to ship out."

the great cobalt scaled beast lowers it shoulder enough for greyson to leverage a foot on it's leg, and lift himself over, tossing the other leg over her neck.

"it was good talking to you, ms. stone. thanks for the pleasant company."

a two fingered salute of 'see-ya later' and they were off.
