Surprisingly, his touch is equally as soft as hers was. Eyelids flutter shut, denying herself sight in favor of heightening her sense of touch. Her skin is indeed flawless, exfoliated, moisturized; great care is taken to keep up a particular appearance. It rewards those given the privilege the feeling of silk beneath their fingertips.

His teeth sink deeper, fingers pinch, there’s pleasure in the pain. It elicits another moan through a sultry smile. She leans back deeper into him, the hand on her chest leaving his to find purchase tangled in his cerulean hair.

Although her expression remains fairly neutral, inside she boils with a strange mixture of blissful satisfaction and self-loathing. Fuck.

She melts back into the water, washing her sins away and hiding the now marred olive canvas beneath the pool’s foggy water. Her skin’s littered with reminders of his aggression. At the time she found it satisfying, now she finds it revolting.

There’s a moment she lets herself glance in his direction. It’s brief. She doesn’t speak, only lets the disdain fester. That is, until he offers her a drink. She accepts with a simple glance at the bottle, "Yes."

The snicker, the grin, his own obvious satisfaction in victory . . . it irks her, burning down deep into her core. It goes against everything she’s stood for when it comes to her relationships with men. Despite the loathing and lingering desire, she finds herself intrigued by this new predator in front of her. Like what? her gaze flashes back over to him after she finishes the sake. He knows, “Don’t be an idiot, King,” she’s not in the mood for games.

Yet, he still continues to play and she continues to entertain them. She casually glances at the bottle, it’s brief, before she lets it flick back up to his. She’d be lying if she said she wasn’t thirst for more. His taste lingers on her tongue beneath the rice wine, but it’s fading.

What the hell is wrong with her?

Toni leans forward, standing. The subtle tremble in her legs goes unnoticed beneath the water’s foggy surface. He draws her closer, like a Mothim to a flame. She stops short, just close enough for a hand to reach for the bottle and close the distance.
