The woman has no patience for gender separation; not when it was clearly unneeded, considering how many co-ed rendevouz she had witnessed in the past few days. Instead of dealing with the unjust separation, Willa wraps her towel around herself and sighs softly as she steps into the steamy rock-covered area of the springs.

"Lovely." She puts her hands on her hips and stands with her feet shoulder width apart, breathing in the heavy steam, before stepping towards the baths. So far, she can't see anyone, but that doesn't mean that she won't when she gets farther into the water.

She pulls her towel free and sets it neatly on a rock, before sinking into the water and swimming a bit towards the other side. Goodness, she missed her alone time. Her son was wonderful, but being a mother was exhausting, sometimes.

Didn’t stop Willa.

Bo had been deeper against the other side of the spring. Sweat had already collected across his face and soaked hair onto his forehead. Eyes closed only opened for the briefest moment when the sound of water moving nearby invaded his thoughts. It was only after they closed again that he realized he was perhaps in familiar company.

He squinted through the steam a moment, and when he was about seventy-five-percent sure, he called over vaguely.

“Hey.”

Azure eyes traced the steamy room to see who had made the small greeting. When her eyes settle on a familiar face, she smiles and arches an eyebrow high on her forehead, a lioness stretching before a pounce.

"Hey." She settles where she had stopped swimming and tilts her head. "Didn't think anyone was in here. Not that it matters." She waves her hand gently, the water moving around her arm in languid laps that ripple the water.

"Day off?" She sinks to her chin, wetting her hair and pushing it back with her hands.

When her eyes locked with his, even through the thick steam, they were obvious. Yup. Willa. The woman had a particularly striking stare, electric and sharp.

He smiled at her, but his gold gaze eventually drifted elsewhere. She didn’t intimidate him, but he wasn’t one to stare for too long—especially not in a place like this.

Everyone knew what he did, didn’t they?

“Yeah, finally. Everyone’s been talking about this place so I figured why not.” His head reclined against the stone edge a little, giving a small grin. “League should pay for this shit, y'know?”

A typical continuation might’ve been, ‘What about you?’ But it really wasn’t any of his business anymore, and he was well aware of that, so he didn’t ask.

Letting out a little laugh, Willa sinks further into the water and closes her eyes, happy for some company.

"Do you feel unfairly compensated by the league?" Because I'm sure rocket would have you back. Goes unsaid.

She still tips her head back to wet her hair, pushing it back off her face before finding a nice, warm rock to sit on. "How have you been?" Contrary to belief, she did hope he was doing well. Happy, even.

He smiled. Sounded like the beginning of a recruitment mission.

Bo had been reminded time and time again that they would have him back, in an instant. His dad had made it clear as day, constantly.

“Can’t say I feel fairly compensated,” he responded grayly—and he was happy to leave it at that.

“Been okay, I guess.” Not at all. “Livin’ the dream.” On the other side. He’d gotten out. Sometimes, deep down, he regretted it.

"That's good." Willa smiles and nods, having watched him while he answered. Her eyes slide closed and she licks her lips, staring at nothing and infinity all at once.

The water gurgles as it trickles down a rock wall a little ways off.

Honestly, she was glad he was out. If she could risk it all and still have the luxuries she was able to provide to her son, she'd get out of the business too.

That, and she just loved making money.

"You have someone... Son? Nephew? He's a little younger than my son. Right?"
