The heiress to Valentine Estate in Wyndon, Josephine was the firstborn to two very demanding parents. From an early age, the expectations and paths of her life were already predetermined for her just as it had been the same for her mother before her- grow up to be a proper young lady and marry into a richer family. No questions about what she'd want and not a care whether she had any qualms to begin with. Josephine's life, body, and soul were never her own, not truly. She was always intelligent, maybe too much for her own good, and hadn't begun rebelling till later on in her teen years when she realized how caged she was. It was always a quiet resentment- plotting for a future without her parents' expectations looming over her like a ghost.

It wasn't until she was twenty-two that she left home that her life as who she was meant to be would begin. Her parents purchased her an estate in the Eterna Forest in Hoenn, hoping that it would teach her how to manage an estate by herself and open her social circle up so that she could return to Wyndon as the heiress that they needed. What would truly happen, however, was the rewriting of her story with her own ink pen. Clever and conniving, Josephine would dip her family name into the darkened waters of crime- smuggling Pokemon, selling on the black market- it made much more than whatever measly money her father had. The heiress was making her own name for herself.

The name 'Team Rocket' crossed her desk every now and then, mostly in the news than anything. It intrigued the heiress, no doubt. Starting from the ground up in an organization she knew no one in was the last thing she wanted- Josephine wasn't exactly a team player, and her ego was too inflated to be called a 'Team Rocket Grunt'.

Still, the idea of crawling up the ladder and conquering one of the most prolific crime groups in Hoenn? She had already made up her mind.
