There were safari zones all over the world. In truth, the world itself had once been a large 'safari zone' before civilization had sprouted to designate the rest of it as so. Belial had traveled enough of the world to realize that former far exceeded the latter, however.[break][break]

In truth, the man was himself enamored with the luxuries and benefits of human civilization. But that didn't meant he lacked a respect for the pureness of nature, and the stresses of survival that were forced out of the human spirit when exposed too long.[break][break]

Today, he walked the grounds of Hoenn's Safari Zone with his Mienfoo by his side. His purpose? Find some new recruits for the mercenary effort.[break][break]

A bitch had worked itself up (WORK UP) to battle the other female who had crossed upon its land. Was it another dog? A ferret? Some sort of long rat? She didn't care. This territory was hers.[break][break]

As she charged forward to TAKE DOWN the Mienshao, however, the Furfrou reconsidered her attack when she saw it take a battle stance. But by then it was far too late. In a blur of motion, the dog was struck down with a DRAIN PUNCH.[break][break]

"Nice work, Chai," Belial smirks, pulling out a heavy ball and casting it.[break][break]

Electrike and Manectric had always been known as fierce, loyal, and downright savage canines of warfare. They filled a niche many mercenaries sought for, quite frankly. After selling his entire stock to a guerilla in South America, however, Belial was certainly needing to capture mroe.[break][break]

Thankfully, the Safari Zone was bustling with entire packs of them this summer. In fact, one of them dared to leap out and try to take a chunk out of Chai. She managed to DETECT the WILD CHARGE, however, and instead blasted the pup into a tree with an AURA SPHERE before Belial captured it with an ultra precise throw of a heavy ball.[break][break]

The cat had placed Chai under a surprise HYPNOSIS from the bushes. Its large eyes held sway over the mind of the martial artist: psychic abilities and the like had always been her bane, after all. Unlike the Mienshao, however, Belial wasn't easily captured in one of these trances.[break][break]

Trained to resist suggestion (or various forms of torture), Belial snuck up to the cat from behind and tasered it. It screeched like all hell before convulsing on the ground. Afterwards, the mercenary produced an empty heavy ball and cast it.[break][break]
