Before Belial can say anything else, the large bear he rides charges forward, trampling the man before swiping at the others with a SLASH. "Let's clean up and get out of here! Belial laughs at the sight of the ski mask and then proceeds to switch on something like an earpiece that activates, distorting his face and voice. "Let's have at it, Mr. Blue. Try and keep up."[break][break]

A cacophony of destruction echoes throughout the GIANT CHASM. His giant Ursaluna crashes through the research station with its HEADLONG RUSH, effectively breaking the installation in half as flabbergasted LEAGUE personnel run for cover. When one attempts to summon a Pokémon, Beregiso is quick to strike him down with a SLASH.[break][break]

As fires erupt all around them, however, other League trainers who managed to survive the initial strike begin summoning their own Pokémon. "Tch..." Belial clicks his tongue, aiming his gun at the arm of one who had his Pokéball at the ready.[break][break]

With her slightly sensual smile and the hint of flirtation in her voice, however, his true desires were, admittedly, being enticed out to play.[break][break]

And, while her talk of disassembling things was a little intimidating, that only added to the thrill. Perhaps he could sweeten the pot with an offering of sorts, he thinks to himself with a smirk.[break][break]

After clicking his tongue, an imposing HISUIAN SAMUROTT saunters from behind him to take its place by his side. "More subjects for the scrap heap, then," He nods, mounting his Pokémon. "They're better off there than in the guidance of the LEAGUE, too." He adds, readying a crossbow in his hand that was slung around his shoulder earlier. Loaded into it are glowing electrical charges meant to stun Pokémon into submission.[break][break]

Turning to his partner with a playfully devilish gleam in his eye, the mercenary captain continues. "Name's Belial, by the way. But you can call me Bel, gorgeous. You ready to move forward?"[break][break]

The gold coins on the ground were a boon, yes, but the thrill of upcoming combat was even more appetizing. "You ready, Mr. Blue?" He asks, switching off the safety on his pistol. Hostages? Belial couldn't say he had much appreciation for the cowardly tactic. Prisoners-of-war were one thing, but holding otherwise innocent people at gunpoint to save one's skin or profit was, in his words, 'bitch-made'. The soldier of fortune had always been more of a guns blazing 'take what you want by force' type anyway.[break][break]

Regardless, that didn't mean Andrew Fisher lacked the potential to become something more. At the mention of the code name Badger, however, Belial snorts. "Nah. MR. BLUE is fine. I'll be MR. BLACK." He smirks, pulling out a gun from one of several holsters strapped to his body. Handing it over, he asks: "Ever shot one of these before?"[break][break]

Hopefully, they wouldn't have to use it. The ANVIL CEO wasn't some crazed killer out for blood, after all. Though Belial soon notices the distinct lack of a Pokémon on Andrew's end with a raised brow.[break][break]

Sticking his nose where it didn't belong was, frankly, a lot of what his job entailed. A lot of what her job entailed, too. And what happened to be the common denominator in both? Money. Which, of course, equated to power. In his eyes, they were both hungry for the same thing. Which, of course, meant Belial wasn't so easily dissuaded from recruiting Alexandra Briarwood into his employ.[break][break]

That being said, the sharp judgemental look her eyes gave him only inspired a smirk as he confidently rose to the challenge. If Lex hadn't already heard, Belial Stone was a man who loved living on the razer's edge: a far cry from the pencil-pushing CEO of ANVIL he made himself out to be in the common world. And, while he'd met thieves before as a soldier of fortune traveling the world, he'd never quite met one like her.[break][break]

The drilling rig slightly jostles as he leans upon it, placing himself directly in front of the redhead with crossed arms. "Come now: killing AVATARS. Cementing your name in history. None of that calls to you?" He continues with a devil's gleam in his narrowed eyes. It's almost as if he's trying to break past the walls she's put up to read her mind. "There's a big payout for each head, too, you know. You'd be great at it."[break][break]

"You were gone for a bit, weren't you? What happened? Where'd you go?" Belial inquires. "TEAM ROCKET missed their number one thief, you know. And I thought I'd missed my chance to recruit you for SPECTRA." He adds.[break][break]

But it was damn near busted, riddled with scorch marks, and dented all around. The surrounding forest, too, was a graveyard of trees and a plain of ash.[break][break]

As his URSALUNA digs beneath this ash with its large paws, hoping to find something to eat within the ground below, the SPECTRA CO-CAPTAIN sighs and turns toward his partner for the endeavor: one Alexandra Briarwood . "Got any ideas to get this thing running, hot stuff?" He smiles, combing his hair back with a single gloved hand.[break][break]

"The higher-ups underestimated how fucked this thing would be when we found it."

A cacophony of whirring and electrical buzzing filled the valleys of AREA ZERO. From the ridge that they stood upon, Belial Stone and Calpurnia Kubrick could see that the herd of IRON TREADS had only grown larger since leaving the TEAM ROCKET RESEARCH STATION they had been posted at. Currently, they were ROLLING OUT in a perfect synchronized clockwise formation, flattening the grassy plain beneath them.[break][break]

The MERCENARY CAPTAIN whistles, impressed by the display. "Hey, you're a scientist, right?" He inquires, turning to the woman beside him. "Do you think those things are really 'alien tech' we can take apart and put back together again?"[break][break]

If so, and if he could somehow harness that power, ANVIL could get a headstart on becoming the most technologically advanced security company in the world. Though those were some big 'ifs'.[break][break]

AZ EXCURSION C: CULL THE HORDE[break]
INTERDREAM MIST AND THE ACTIVATION OF TERA CRYSTALS summon an aggressive army of PARADOX POKEMON. Upon spawning, they rampage and stampede through AREA ZERO. It is likely that if these hostile Pokemon are allowed free reign that they would escape the caves, the chasm, and ultimately invade all of Hoenn, disrupting the ecosystems to an irreparable degree. Stop them before it's too late.[break][break]

Belial Stone sized his partner up with a doubtful look as his URSALUNA rubbed her rear on a tree nearby. "You done this sorta thing before?" He inquires, raising a brow.[break][break]

Andrew Fisher didn't look more than a buck forty soaking wet to him. Though he supposed there were a lot of people in TEAM ROCKET who fit that same bill. Outcasts. Shut-ins. HOENN's unwanted. Belial had made a living from shaping these sorts of people into killers.[break][break]

"There's a LEAGUE RESEARCH STATION just over that hill there," He continues, pointing north past the forest they currently reside in. "Our job is to see it destroyed by any means necessary." With a nod, he turns back to the lad beside him and sniffs. "What's your name? Your code name?"[break][break]
