Luka has never been the assertive sort, not by any means. So she doesn't kick up a fuss at the hot springs when there's a problem with her booking. It's a simple error, a small mistake with the time booked, and she's not all that bothered about it. She's all smiles and in fact, she even apologizes to the staff for troubling them! Despite assuring them that she's not upset, the staff offers her a few free bottles of sake for the inconvenience anyways, since she'll have to wait a bit longer than expected to get into the hot spring.

But hey, free sake! It's just as she's always said- a little kindness goes a long way. Once her spot is finally free Luka lounges back in the hot spring with a contented sigh, the little wooden tray of nigori sake floating by her side. After a few moments she picks up the bottle and pours herself a glass. It's cool to the touch and carries the scent of white grapes and cherry blossoms, sweet and gently fragrant.

It'd be a shame to keep this all to herself. Luka glances around, spotting another head and shoulders above the steaming water in the baths.

"Hi! Sorry, I hope this doesn't sound weird. But, um, they gave me some free drinks, and..." She smiles, pushing her bangs out of her eyes. "Would you like to share? I don't think I can drink this all on my own."

Dear father and mother up above, how do you talk to a goddess?

A woman that has the beauty that won't be losing to the goddess of beauty herself has grace her presence with two bottle of her favorite beverages as if she has been reading her inner desires. The smile that she gives out is sweeter than any sweets she had taste in her entire life - The way she pushes her bang is more picture-esque than any painting that she knew (Which is not much but hey it is something).

"Don't mind if I do, a good drink would become better if there is someone else to drink with. Especially, if it is a beauty like you" Tara takes the sake and let out a soft laugh. "My name is Tara, Tara Arnnelia, nice to meet you" Tara introduce herself casually.

"By the way, did you drop something to the bath?" Tara suddenly asks as she submerges her hand to the bath. A moment later, she takes out her hand and reveal a heart gesture on her hand. "Oh, you drop my heart" Tara says, teasing the woman.

"Eh?"

Luka hasn't been in the springs long enough to be flushed from the heat. The color that rises in her freckled cheeks is caused solely by the slew of unexpected compliments from the other woman- a really pretty woman, at that. It doesn't help that their setting is so privately intimate...oh goodness! But it would do her no good to pass out and drown in the hot spring, so Luka does her best to keep herself composed.

It's difficult though, especially when Tara dips below the water and returns with a cute gesture and another corny line. Luka's got a cotton candy heart; it melts so quickly in water!

"O-oh gosh," she says, dissolving quickly into a fit of embarrassed giggles. "T-that's...you're too sweet!" Luka takes a sip of sake to buy herself some time: she doesn't quite know how to respond. A terrible flirt, she's no good at delivering any sort of cheesy line. "Well, I'm glad you found it! It'd be terrible if it got lost...you'd need a map to- wait, no. It's, um, are you lost? Because I have a...a map...wait, t-that's not right either..."

Please forgive her for being such an awkward mess. But she really is trying!

Too precious even to the point that Tara wants to tease her more than she already did. While maintaining her strongest suit - Poker face- she is trying to think of what she should follow up with. Then without the need to think it too much - Luka manages to serve something to her on a silver platter. "I am at lost currently actually, I can't find the path to your heart," Tara says coyly. "I hope the map that you are offering to me is the map to your heart" Tara winks, as she does a pistol gesture right to her heart.

"Tara Arnnelia but for you, you can call me Tara. What's your name sweetheart?" Tara introduces herself and wants to know more about the girl.

"Eh? Oh my goodness..." How quickly she's reduced to this! A blushing, stammering mess, one delicate hand over her mouth to stifle the embarrassed laughter that floats from pretty pink lips. Luka doesn't have any clever retort to the slew of flattery- she can only giggle and blush, but apparently even that is endearing enough.

"M-my name is Luka," she says once she can trust herself to speak. Her hand moves away from her face and to her towel, letting Tara see her smile while she makes sure the towel hasn't slipped at all. "Mademoiselle Tara...you really have, um, h-have a way with words!"

Tara laughs at the reaction of Luka but gradually subsides, finally realized what just happened. The weird rush of adrenaline from meeting a cute girl who got easily flustered like Luka finally dies down and her face starts to steaming hot. She quickly dips her head to the water then resurfaces only revealing her face from nose to above - Staring at Luka. After a moment later, Tara stands up showing her body to the fullest. The shamefulness feeling from earlier has gone and Tara is back to normal.

"Just call me Tara, don't need that mademoiselle and stuff like that" Tara say dismissively, waving her hand. "I see a chance so I am not afraid to use it. Does your friend ever told you that you are full of opening?" Tara asks, soaking her body once again.

She doesn't crow in any sort of victory, but Luka does feel slightly vindicated when the other woman's face finally goes red. It's nice to not be the only one feeling a little flustered! But she just looks on in quiet awe, sipping carefully at her sake while Tara submerges and then stands. She tries not to stare, that would be rude. But really, what an interesting woman! Bold and pretty- really pretty- vivacious and confident...

"Full of...openings?" Luka tilts her head to the side, confused. "I have- ehh, wait, what?!" When she puts two and two together, she comes the WRONG CONCLUSION...hopefully. "W-what do you mean??"

Tara hums, tilting her head trying to think of responsibility behind breaking the naivety of the woman in front of her. Should Tara douse her with an embarrassing truth or with an empty lie? Therefore, she decides to keep all of it to herself - "It's nothing" Tara shakes everything off. It is not like it is something bad, she is cute so everything can be forgiven. "So, how was your day?" Tara asks passingly, pouring sake to her cup and to others. She gently pushes the other cup to Luka, gesturing that it is for her.

"Oh...I see." Luka bites at her bottom lip but doesn't press further. She knows very well how she can come across sometimes: as a ditz, or horribly naïve. Whether or not such a perception bothers her is something even she hasn't figured out.

But Tara is nice and funny and pretty, so Luka doesn't dwell on that for long. Instead she takes the cup of sake with a saccharine smile and clinks it against Tara's in a little 'cheers'.

"Good! It was nice...kind of busy, but that's fine! It makes being able to relax like this feel even better," Luka says with a warm smile. She leans back against the edge of the spring, sipping again at her sake. "What about yours?"

"Today is not relatively bad, it takes time traveling from Slateport to here but I love road trips so I didn't mind too much about the trip. If it wasn't for this, my motorbike would have got rusty from not using it so often." Tara tells her story and makes herself feel comfortable. "I pass Mauville city while driving but don't have the time to visit there since I was so focused to go here since I have been hearing about this place" Tara takes another cup of sake.

"Oh, goodness! You're even busier than me, then," Luka remarks with a laugh. "You definitely deserve a break like this. I hope you're having fun!" She lets out a content sigh and adjusts her towel a little, securing the damp material around her chest.

"Mauville...no, I haven't been yet. To be honest, I haven't been living here all that long! I mostly hang around Lilycove," she explains. "It's so nice, have you been? I just love watching the contests!"

"Eh? I-I mean, besides that!" An indignant flush burns all the way up to Luka's ears, and she gulps down some sake a little too fast to compensate. She chokes a little and splutters, feeling like even more of a fool.

"It's, erm, it's really lovely," she says after clearing her throat a few times. "I've never lived so close to the water before! It's soooo nice to watch the sun set over the water at night...although if there's one thing I miss from back home, it's the snow."

Luka purses her lips. "I don't suppose there's anywhere around here that gets snow, is there?"

"Wait are you okay?" Tara got worried when Luka suddenly got chokes after gulping the sake too fast, "Sheesh... Don't drink it too fast, it would only make you drunk faster." Tara scolds with a line that she often tells her brother whenever he drinks. "It wouldn't be funny if you suddenly passed out here and leaving me alone you know" Tara flicks the surface of the water and splash it to Luka's face. [break][break]

"I don't think we have snowy region around here but well... I haven't been to all of the places in Hoenn despite I born and grow up in this region. At the very least, I haven't heard of a place that has snow around. I assume that you are not from this region then? Where are you from?" Tara asks as she takes a sip.
