Over the past few weeks, Ryuuzaki has realised that the duty of cat retriever often falls upon his shoulders... and while it doesn't entirely suck, it's not the best for his final brain cells that are struggling to function as is. Thankfully, Skadi has more than memorised the scent of various cats just to assist him with this little mission. All they need to do now is find the missing cats and bring them back to the clinic until their owners come to collect them.

Why the hell was she in Lilycove? Who knows. Hell, she doesn’t even know. It seems like a nice city. It’s on the water though which Killian Decker would hate. Nice place for scoping out future heists though. There are plenty of well-to-do business and house ripe for the taking.

She hesitates to TELEPORT off back to Lavaridge when she spots a familiar face. The Alakazam waits expectantly, but the command never comes. Lex obviously hasn’t learned her lesson about letting others deal with their own shit. Instead, she approaches ryuuzaki amemiya, a fairly neutral and calculating gaze, “What the hell are you lookin’ for?”

It's hard to forget the face of someone you've worked with, especially if they're someone you've managed to tick off in the past. At least, that's what he reckons when he gets a good look at whoever's calling out to him.

If it weren't for the bitter taste left when he recalls Suzu's injuries, he probably would have put a little more effort in greeting the woman and her Alakazam. Keyword being 'probably'.

Lex shoves her hands in the pocket of her dark jeans. Her features remain neutral, obviously not entertained by the Minior Shower joke. All the man gets in response is a sharp exhale, perhaps the remnant of a chuckle. It’s hard to tell.

A silence settles as she takes a moment to glance around after his question. She hasn’t heard anything about a runaway feline, “Why are you looking for one of those? Is it yours?” in other words, does it pay? Should she be looking too?

He baits her with temptation, and it works. There’s a moment of silence and she considers the task. Her amber eyes flick down towards the pokemon at his feet. It couldn’t be too difficult to find some cats. Lex is good at acquiring things, but those things are typically stationary and not actively running from her. The challenge is appealing, and so is the reward if he isn’t interested in it.

“Hm, I’ll help,” it was more a statement rather than a request. A pokeball falls from her waist and into her hand. She knows just the pokemon for the job. With a loud screech, the Braviary takes form. His massive wings stretch out and kick up a gust of winds as he flaps them a few times before settling them at his side, “What kinda cats are we looking for?”

She'd almost clawed his eye out when he'd tried to tend to her wounds in her early stages of treatment, and that was probably because she preferred females over males.
