There were enough rookies and Cadets here to do most of the guesswork themselves and a couple of Elites to bark at their mistakes.

He sat atop a park bench watching his would-be underlings comb the park for the lost puppy. It was actually just on the job training for their newbie Rangers but there really was a lost dog that needed finding.

The redhead simply thought it best to hang back and let one of the Elites give the Cadets their pointers for the day.

Watching Laurence Anderson do anymore paperwork he was going to eat a handful of kibble and jump into a well himself.

"We should really think about digitizing these mandatory reports."

"ghahhhhh...." He groaned, of course he had no choice but to bow down to the old world efficiency of analog paperwork.

Analog was the only reason no one knew his dirty little secret of being a former rocket; before they moved to digital records.

Take what files they had on you and outlive everyone who knew about you, or almost everyone (Raziel Beckett) and let the chips fall where they may.

Back to Lars being right. "That's all I got in new policy proposals." The staff meeting wasn't for another couple of days but there were sitting here now all the same.

The Metagross hummed quietly, its rendition of ‘white noise’ humming through the air as Lars adjusted his position on the back of the silver beast.

“Here’s the thing—if we can find someone who’s a gray hat or a white hat hacker and have them work for the League under the guise of cybersecurity consultant—it’s technically possible we can start converting all that information and data from long ago.”

But then again, the looming threat of black hat hackers who could be convinced with a tidy sum of money was always there.

“And it wouldn’t be just the entire collection of files the Rangers have—thing is, you never know how uptight the higher-ups are when it comes to securing important information.”

Nothing next of finding a secure storage area and keeping it under constant lock and key—it was laughably easy to break into encrypted information and unscramble it.

“What do you suggest, then?”

"I suggest we keep to the old way." He stared off into space in the way that he did when he started making plans and extrapolating his thoughts. "I was mostly just passing time when I suggested digitizing. We should keep things to paper record and make sure the cadets understand the importance of paperwork." It was the most 'dad' thing he'd ever said in his life.

Ugh. Gods help him; he meant every word of it.

"I'd like to say Kingsman." It was hard to bring up Raziel Beckett in most capacities.

Sénon was well aware of how little the late-teen wanted to be in the spotlight. That made it difficult to recommend him for certain work.

"He's a duty-bound guy and he could use the extra money." Lars might not have seen it, but Sénon was very slowly squinting, as he if wasn't quite sure of what he was saying. "Also, I think its safe to say the paperwork wont ever catch fire on his watch." Despite having his fiery fear he was a stellar ranger in all fields.

Not to mention 'guard dog' work was well within his wheel house.

At the mention of Raziel Beckett, his eyebrows met.

Hmm, that would be tough, considering who I suspect he works for now, definitely not within the Leagues, but for someone else to get access to all that paperwork… might have to think hard about it, he thought to himself, staring at the ground for a few moments while contemplating the decision.

After a while, he realized something.

“You… you do know where he lives at the moment, right?”

He wondered if the other would realize it.

Before it slipped his mind, the Red Redheaded Head Ranger circled back around to the first thing Lars'd said.

His face twisted into a bit of a slack-jawed, gap-mouthed scowl. "Who do you think he works for?"
