not that he goes often anymore, but he definitely spent his fair share of nights clubbing when he was younger.

no, she probably shouldn't be doing this to him, but it's not like he particularly minds, especially not when she says things like that.

not sure what to say to that, he instead reaches for her hand and leads her towards the dance floor, placing his empty glass on a tray on the way.

beautiful instruments sound around them, playing a melody he doesn't quite recognize, but knows to be fitting for a slow dance, as evident by others around them.

and so he turns around to face her, reaches for her hip, and starts swaying with the flow of the music.

after the spin, his gaze returns, meeting hers as he chuckles.

"you said you didn't either."

and yet here they are: dancing together in the grand ballroom of the observatory, and despite being surrounded by so many people, he finds it easy to slip into their own little bubble, ignoring everything and everyone else around them.

soon, the song comes to an end before it transitions seamlessly into the next. he doesn't want to stop, so he carries on.

it's not something he usually enjoys either, which is why he'd often just hang out at the bar in the past and just drink it out.

the thought of doing that here does occur to him, but she'd be there drinking with him, of course.
