In the tall grass of route 116, Luka is doing the same as everyone else: hunting for Unown. Though her luck hasn't been that good so far she remains cheerfully optimistic about her chances, and the bouncing Buneary at her side certainly does help to boost her morale!

No luck so far. Luka clicks her tongue but gives the Baltoy a cheerful wave as she walks past it anyways- it's not their fault they're not the Pokemon she's looking for. Bonbon continues to hop at her side, though they've been searching for a while and her bouncing steps are starting to lag behind Luka's longer strides. With a soft smile Luka scoops her bunny up, cuddling her close while the pair continues to walk and keep an eye out. [break][break]

Her steps are starting to lag a bit. It's been a long day, and a lot of fruitless searching has begun to take its toll. In her arms Buneary squirms, yawns, and settles in for a nap.[break][break]Luka's steps become more careful so she doesn't disturb her drowsing Pokemon. And when a Brozor shows up, clinking softly as it floats by, Luka decides it's better not to wake Bonbon just yet, and lets them go.[break][break]

It's getting late. Bonbon has woken up from her nap, energized and refreshed, but Luka's tired. Her weary steps haven't brought her any closer to finding an Unown, and the sun is beginning to hover over the horizon. [break][break]
When Bonbon chitters and points out into the grass, for a moment Luka thinks her luck has turned. But it hasn't- her Buneary is just looking to blow off a little steam. And Luka indulges her, letting her have a quick battle against the Slowbro. It ends in a tie of sorts, with both Pokemon still standing, and Luka decides that at least part of her day should be productive. She throws the Pokeball, watching it wiggle in the grass while Bonbon bounces around happily beside it. [break][break]
