The crates arrive before she does. Large wooden boxes stacked neatly upon the Lilycove quay, waiting to be hauled into the plane interior for securing and transport. [break][break]

Sweat glistens on tanned arms, exposed to the sun and heat as Angelo jumps from the seaplane ladder and onto the wooden planks of the dock. Blue eyes bright with energy after hauling the shipment into the cargo space, as he turns to greet today’s contractor.[break][break]

“And you must be Ms Stone,” the pilot at least bothers to wipe his hand on his pants leg before taking the woman’s outstretched hand, giving it a firm shake. “Likewise.”[break][break]

A head is tilted towards the seaplane, nearly full as it bobs on gentle waters. [break][break]

“Shouldn’t be much longer now. You still happy to take a ride?”

A laugh falls free, easy. [break][break]

“Not yet. It’s just ‘the plane’ for now,” nothing had jumped out at Angelo when he’d acquired it. Unlike the Sotally Tober, Angelo’s own vessel had not so quickly gained a title. [break][break]

But he’d grown incredibly attached to it – proud of it – even over the short, smooth sailing course of his ownership thus far. [break][break]

“I'm not going to pretend to be a creative. Something will stick eventually.” Angelo is practical, instead. Evident how his rough hands take to another of the waiting crates, dwindling down the pile piece by piece. Boots making assured strides up and down the dock, like he's worn a familiar path into the wood and flowed through the motions, a feather on the wind, a million times before. [break][break]

“Don't they say the best names are earned, anyway?” Ot it'll just fall onto his lap one day, most likely.
