Patience does the trick, though not in a way she had anticipated.[break][break]The oddly colored Sigilyph catches her eye, distracting Luka from her goal of hunting Unown. While she knows intrinsically that shiny Pokemon aren't really that different from their normal counterparts, she can't help but be drawn in by the allure of something so special.[break][break]But the Psychic type eludes her for a while. It ducks and dips out of the way as she tries going after it, effortlessly dodging the Pokeballs thrown its way. Only after several minutes pass fruitlessly does Luka take the hint, and stops going after it.[break][break]"Sorry," she says a bit sheepishly. "I guess I got carried away! You must be tired of people coming after you right away, huh?" A strange chirp and a buzzing sound is her answer. Luka giggles. "I won't make that mistake again, promise! No more chasing. Would you like a snack instead? I've got some fresh water, or a lemonade..."[break][break]She snacks for herself for a while, until the Sigilyph trusts her enough to get a treat for himself. The Unown hunt is forgotten- after the afternoon wears on a bit Luka finally exits the route, carrying a Pokeball with Sigilyph inside instead.
