Yui had finally caught up from falling behind in her work so that FERNANDO SILPH finally got off her back. She kind of deserved it in all fairness but now that the weekend was here Yui finally had some free time! She remembered the battle she had with stormy and razz and noticed how there were some eeveelutions that appeared to lend their energy to Yui. [break][break]

She then began to go and text Razz for his help "Hey razz! You free? I need your help for something if you're available." she told him and then sending him a location for them to meet up. She looked to her beheyeem who then used teleport to send her to Mt. Chimney, as she awaited for Razz she'd sit on a bench and kick her feet as she looked on at her phone on social media, sending more QR codes out on the internet as she began to gain a small following for Athena.

Would be the reply Yui would get back as even weekends he would often report in for a few jobs. Not as much as he would during the weekdays, hell technically the weekend he wasn't required to but Razz preferred to fill his time. And he was in the middle of a job when she had messaged him. Though thankfully it was a simple one. [break][break]

After the job was done he would check in on just where she wanted to meet. Groaning when she mentioned she wanted to meet at Mt Chimney of all places. Honestly he thought Yui to be one of the few people he wouldn't have to worry about the whole fire thing as she seemed to dislike it as much as him. Yet here they were, with a sigh he messages her about being there soon. [break][break]

And with an easy ride from one of his pokemon he was able to arrive. Razz jumping off his extra large Golurk as they land as he gives Yui a simple wave, "Yo, soooo.... why here?" because always to the point.

Yui grinned as he approached, ooh wow he actually came! No wonder fern kept him around, he was reliable. "Well cause..." she said stalling a bit cause she was already showing some bit of anxiety, now that he was here it meant she'd have to actually explore around this place. [break][break]
"Remember that Z move that eevee pulled off during the Hoenn start tournament?" She asked him. "During that move I noticed that there were some eeveelutions that had shown up during the z move and gave energy to Eevee to do it." she told them "I think you all were too focused on the battle to notice. But ever since then I've been trying to practice it and welp nothing." she answered "So I wanted to see if we could find the eeveelutions that helped out. starting with the scariest one for both of us to find. Flareon." she explained.

The ranger would give a simple nod about the Z-move with their battle together. For now just listening as to why his fellow Pyrophobe would bring them there. While he does feel bad that she still seems to struggle with the whole Z-move problem he still dislikes the idea. Though at least he has toughen up since then thanks to his new gifts. [break][break]

Though it wasn't like he was going to tell her no when she seemed so determined. He sighs as his shoulder's slump, surely the two of them together would be just fine. Besides not like he wasn't dealing with fire near weekly now. "Yeah sure.... I guess....." he's not the most confident but that's when Salem jumps to the ground and meows some nonsense, but his feelings of positivity easily able to get through. Salem was proud the two were trying.[break][break]

So the cat decides to play a little game of follow the leader, with him being the leader.

Thank god someone besides one of the pyrophobes took the lead. Honestly, Yui even wondered where the heck this meowstic was even going but she wasn't one to doubt a psychic type's intuition. They were smart for a reason. So Yui followed alongside it "I'll treat you to a fancy lunch after. I promise." she said trying to sweeten the deal with razz. "Whatever Salem wants." she said realizing the Psychic type may have had a lot of sway in razz's decision making. [break][break]

Salem turns and just starts walking backward up the Mountain as he hears the exciting tales of lunch being bought. The cat meowing and seeming to list a bunch of things he would like when they would go for lunch. Though he wasn't using his hands so Razz could mostly just guess what he meant. [break][break]

"Mostly working to distract myself from the fact that I can't go home because Rocket has once again ruined shit," he grumbles clearly not happy about it. "Though your brother was kind enough to let me live in one of his spare places in Slateport so I'm not slumming it in some motel like I was before it," he shrugs as it is what it is. [break][break]

She nodded in return to the Meowstic's constant meowing, she had to be respectful of course even if she didn't really understand a single word the Pokémon was trying to communicate. She turned her attention back to razz after as he talked about a recent event she didn't really get to hear that much about just yet. Or at least from someone who was there directly.[break][break]

Fernando was pretty generous with Razz huh? "You lived in Sootopolis? Damn that's awful. I'm really sorry razz, I wish I could have helped." she said expressing her empathy for him. She did hate that Razz lost his home but no one could have really predicted this coming, she had to do more work as Athena and predict this kind of stuff. [break][break]

She wondered about something though. "Oh one of Fern's places? I wonder which one it is. If you get lonely I can come hang out and we can just have fun if you'd like!" she offered. "Depending on my work schedule though. Fern doesn't let us do remote work for Silph."

“Crap happens sometimes,” is all he could really reply with a bit of a shrug. A small sassier part of him gestures to the heated rocks around them as if pointing out the crap they were in out. Though he was much more forgiving of this than what happened to his home. [break][break]

He nods for now as they continue to follow Salem, “Yeah one of his condos, thankfully spacious for my pokemon to move around in,” they were the reason he invested into a house in the first place. [break][break]

I'd probably get fired for it." she chuckled a bit "Only if I get caught though." she said giving a cheeky grin back to Razz, she probably could get away with it if she was clever enough. The heat began to grow hotter and hotter as Salem continued to lead the charge. [break][break]

Did it really know where they were going? Yui was beginning to doubt it until suddenly a flame of fire spout out from a blind spot. A flareon had launched a flame thrower at Salem as it was upset they were invading it's territory. The hunt was over, they found their target.
