slowking (m) oblivious - nasty plot, disable, headbutt, power gem, block

slowking (f) regenerator - zen headbutt, confusion, trump card, headbutt, rain dance

normally, a slowking against an exeggutor would've been a bad matchup, but what is one grass-type against six water-types?

not even a SEED BOMB will save the exeggutor from the relentless assault of POWER GEMS and HEADBUTTS. funny how no water-move is used, however.

Yet another the trainer was put aside as a wild pokémon entered their little improvement plot of land.

A baby pokémon species it cowered before the Tyrunt and feinted before the other three. He still had plenty of spare balls left; why not take advantage.

If he could pull the double duty of training his experienced 'mon while capturing new ones he would be spending more his days under the sun; he was already nearing a farmer's tan.

Turned out, it was easy capture the wild ones if they were severely outnumbered and properly intimidated.

speaking of friends...here's another kingler to add to the collection.

its CRABHAMMER starts the battle, slamming into one of the slowkings, and though it doesn't do as much damage as it normally would, the impact of it is enough to send slowking reeling.

the other five converge at once, not giving it a chance to attack again as PSYCHICS suffocate it into submission.

Another Beheeyem? Between them and the 'Goth's most of the other species didn't pop up as much.

Not that he was complaining about the former. They'd once been so obscure to him, for the moment at least, they seemed to be abundant in the wild.

POISON FANG and DIG from the Tyrunt and Drednaw put the psychic under Sénon's aim.

It was strange that all these wild ones seemed to be pouring in with such repetition.

Something must have been rousting them up there. As a Ranger there was a certain inclination to investigate but considering he didn't hear much of a panic or commotion up top so for a while longer he'd just focus on training his own.

-or any would be attackers like the Hattrem who decided to cut on his rocky horde only to be overwhelmed by their numbers. It didn't even matter what moves they used, no wild pokémon could be a gang or trained pokémon 4v1.

as water starts to rain down all around them, matias wonders if it's due to a pokemon as they're inside a cave. and sure enough, the wild swanna appears, and he presumes it's from its WATER SPORT.

nodding, the slowkings summon their PSYCHIC energies to wrap around swanna, and though it tries its best to WATER GUN its way free, its no match up against six slowkings.

and sure enough, the wild tyrantrum comes bursting in with its CRUNCH, STRONG JAWS snapping with violent intent. it's too bad slowkings are faster. POWER GEMS and PSYCHICS are what down the tyrantrum.

Go figure the first water type to wander into the battle square would set a trend.

A Simipour found itself at Sénon's mercy as it seemed to run to him for protection from the others present.

As a primate it was probably smart enough to know it would take on one of them, maybe two, but it couldn't beat them all.

Not that it would need to, as the rock-types all fell in literally line at Sénon gesture.

It was time for a lunch break, and after the Simipour tasted his curry, it would be glued to his hip.

he supposes it's about time for a break anyways. he stops by the water, allowing his slowkings to submerge into the small lake to cool off. they deserve it; they've done hard work thus far.

a dragonair slithers up, wanting to befriend the slowkings, most likely. he watches the interaction, fond of the dragon-type.

A chinchou of all things found its way down into the quarry-hole.

Probably attracted to the scent of the wafting curry in the air. It didn't seem to want to play nice with the rock types weaponizing its water-move the way it did so fast. But being outnumbered as it was it was knocked out and captured with Terawr doing most of the work.
