If the quality of men could be determined by the chisel in their step and the breadth of their heart, Joseph would be among the top. He may not be the fastest word slinger this side of Hoenn, but this behemoth offers no less than common decency to all who cross him. Be it his fellow rangers or members of Team Rocket, Joseph is a firm believer that a choice made by an individual is better than one not made at all.
He can be overbearing in the will to care for an individual, at times stubborn, but that's simply his protective instinct flaring up. A trait that shows itself best in the operating field. [break][break]

This gentle soul rallies into action, showing an unusually level of calmness under pressure. As a wrangler of Tauros, he often had to help bring the young bulls in line when their attitude was unforgivable in the herd. These steady nerves may agitate some of his more excitable comrades, but a look into Joseph's eyes will show an unwavering spirit ready to be the barrier between his team and opposition. Despite the perceived confidence, Joseph has several insecurities. His age compared to the young bucks does concern him slightly, as does his build. He does not shy away from his physique but knows it is intimidating to deal with a six foot ten, robust man. All the same, he is an advocate to better himself and tries his best to get along with others. Even if some of the city talk gets him all sorts of confused. [break][break]
