"It's alright. Fernando's working me a lot harder lately. He caught me falling asleep at work." she told him as she was wearing her "uniform" for Silph co. It was a white turtleneck sweater with a long peach skirt and simple pump shoes. She was using her spare hand to rub her neck a bit as her recent nap left her a small creak in her neck. She usually never fell asleep at work since she found coding to be extremely fun, even if it was work. [break][break]

Yui decided to match Matias's lickilicky's and used her real one and her ditto to transform into one as well. "So. Why the lickies?" she asked him curiously as to why he picked a Pokémon Yui found strange.

fuck off would've been the more appropriate term, but he held himself back just this once.

at the mention of the lickilickys, he turns to look back at them, smiling at the sight of two more.

"i like them. they're cute, don't you think?"

almost as cute as this relicanth that appears. it's quickly LICKED and captured, however, before it even has a chance to get off its HEAD SMASH.

She let out a small chuckle at Matias. "You and I both know how that'd end." she said in return. "Besides, I love my job. It's not like it's boring it's just I've been super busy." she told him choosing to withhold the fact she got shot in the foot during her excursion at the trick house and her medicine had a side effect of making her sleepy. She was almost done with the medication anyways so everything would go back to normal soon right?...yeah she knew that was a lie herself. A Hakamo-o came charging at her, she turned around and froze as her big pink body guards took the hit for her. The Pokémon's punches bounced right off it's body sending it flying back and they both WRAPED their tongues restraining the Pokémon until it faints and Yui tosses a pokeball at it and captures the little bastard. "Super cute." she comments as she avoids direct contact with either of them out of fear for a powerful lick being applied to her face.

at yui's compliment, both lickilicky shoot their tongues out at her, LICKING her affectionately. their tongues feel awfully dry, almost like rubbing sandpaper against skin.

"turn your attention towards the poliwhirl, ladies."

this time, only one lickilicky springs into action because it's the only one with a moveset at the moment. a strong POWER WHIP slams into the poliwhirl, knocking it into the ground and into a pokeball.

She was so stunned by the actions that neither her nor her pokemon noticed the barbarblelebabrable pokemon nearby as it scurried away due to the commotion. "Really now! You just had to ruin my hair!" she said taking out a comb from her purse and trying to fix it as she pouted at both him and his pokemon.

there's nothing wrong with being licked, so he doesn't see the problem here.

he's also focusing on the slowbro that appears. this time, however, his own pokemon don't even attempt to LICK it, perhaps afraid of catching something.

instead, they send out their tongues in a strong POWER WHIP that trips up the slowbro. it lands on its back, and though it wiggles in an attempt to stand back up, it's too slow to retaliate against the pokeball that comes at it.

it slobbers right against his skin and into his hair, but he seems unfazed by it. perhaps he's been licked far too many times.

he even smiles at yui's lickilicky because that's how they greet people.

an altaria watches this exchange from above, clearly grossed out because it immediately FURY ATTACKS one of matias' tongues. the altaria is soon wrapped with LICKS and brought down to the ground and into a pokeball.

She stared at him, she thought she was supposed to be the "weird" silph. She let out a small sigh "Of course you're unphased by it." She knew that's how they typically greeted each other but Yui still hated the feeling of it, it's normally why she kepts hers in it's pokeball to prevent such things. [break][break]

Her eyes look away from the Alteria attacking her brother's pokemon as she was she he had it handled and Yui spotted an adorable little Popplio posing for her! Was it trying to impress her? Was it...was it t-posing? Yui kind of stared at it, horrified it even had knowledge of such a thing, maybe he got it from watching some young kids do it and assumed it's a human greeting. Regardless Ditto turned into it and used pound on it, the blunt force knocking it out and Yui tossed a love ball at the pokemon.
