"definitely not! all they say is 'beep boop i am a robot beep boop' and shit like that! there's been two sightings of regis on hoenn and none of them talked properly..."

granted, he hasn't seen the regirock and the regidrago, but the regi he saw with the underboss definitely did not talk in the same manner as the voice in his head.

"i can ask it when it pops up again, i think. i can't get it to speak again, but it's definitely in my head, i swear!"

priam flushes in embarrassment and then shifts his eyes elsewhere. it seems embarrassing to talk like this. the only ones that would probably take it seriously at first would be weirdos.

"it's not a regi, i don't think, but i guess it did say something like gathering energy? i don't really get it to be honest."

As much as Mars appreciates Priam’s good humour, it really makes him wonder if the younger man understands just how serious the things he’s saying are. He probably doesn’t. It’s that or he’s scared and joking around to distract himself from that fact.

His next comment makes Mars think it might be the latter, because believing something might be in his head sure sounds like cause for concern.

he did get it from the regirock ruins, which is similar to the setting of most of those said stories.

"if it is some sort of warning, then too bad it went to the wrong person."

priam shrugs. he waits for a bit before his eyes gradually light up in excitement as a thought forms in his head.

"unless that means i'll be some sort of those cool, awesome avatars in the future! maybe i am the chosen one, eh? whaddya think? i might be the arkey- arsy- fucking god avatar of the future!"

There’s something incredibly unsettling about the thought of a big beast that has been sleeping for millenia suddenly waking to wreak havoc, and yet, Mars knows Priam may just be right, since isn’t that the sort of thing that often happens? Isn’t it what happened with Groudon’s rampage at Mt. Chimney, even if it hadn’t been long since the Continent Pokémon last showed itself?

Katherine Fairburne had worried about bigger enemies and here’s Priam talking about heroes waking beasts for a “boss battle”.

But, who’s the hero here? Is it really priam conrad?
