He had been given a mission to capture a league minor official and extract information out of them. Sootopolis had been a success so rocket needed to look for holes wherever they could find them. "Brought him just like you asked." . as the league official looked around in panic but could see nothing. Bryan turned on the lights and all he would see is bryan in the room in his skintight black suit and his wolf and lamb mask. His sylveon appeared along side him as Bryan had used it's dig ground type move to make their escape route to the warehouse. The hole was slowly filled in by sylveon as Bryan seemingly awaited for someone else to enter the room. For Martín del Mar to enter the room. [break][break]
"Want me to beat the information out of him sir?" he asked as the man spoke "Who are you talking to?!"

It was time for the wolf routine. The league official's face turned pale white as he began to panic "Please! No! What could you possibly want with me?! I'm just a nobody!" he said as Bryan threatened him with violence. It was his favorite part of interrogations, seeing people so easily turn on those they were sworn to protect. [break][break]

Bryan begun to hear the man weep and rolled his eyes underneath the mask, seemingly looking like he was going to walk away. [break][break]

However he quickly turned and kicked him in the gut causing him to lose his breath and cough wildly. "Stop fucking crying." he said as he grew angrier. "I cant fucking stand babies. I haven't even given you a reason to fucking piss yourself yet." He grabbed him by his hair and raised him up to look at the mask. "You're holding out on us both, and as you can tell im not the friendliest fucker here. So you either tell him what he wants to know or else I'll make true of that threat." he said releasing his hair and letting him fall down to the floor. [break][break]

The man gathered himself, sniffling a bit as he gathered what pieces of him remained after bryan broke his spirit. "What do you want from me? What information?" he said before bryan looked at mars, he hadn't really even thought of that.

There had once been a time when they were dreaded, a time when he worried about if they would get what they wanted and how far they would need to go in order to get it. Now, it’s all the same. This League official might be of use or he might not, and while they’ll do everything in their power to ensure the former, if they get nothing out of this it’ll be of no consequence to him. Numb. If anything, he’d be slightly annoyed at the waste of time and resources, but that’s that.

“i’m just a measly ranger.” and not one that’d paid adequately considering the pain and suffering the rocket admin and his enforcer has put him through.

the most of what he’ll know borders the mundane and boring. nothing of incredible importance really comes to mind. but in desperation, the mind trickles through past instances. it probes for anything that could prove fascinating to those who look for value where there is none.

“but there are rumors of strange pokemon appearing lately.”

he goes on to elaborate about instances of rangers and civilians reporting wild pokemon that prove incredibly aggressive. stories of pokemon MEGA EVOLVING on their own accord have become commonplace but these pokemon are different. the ones in recent reports seem to coordinate with each other, boasting odd abilities uncommon for their species.

not much is known but their recent prominence has caught the ranger’s attention. while not a big enough concern to be put on a radar, lower tiered rangers are now responsible for tracking these pokemon and their impact on the environment.

The pokemon who would mega evolve seemingly at random had become normal, but for this man to say that more pokemon keep popping up with unnatural abilities...what could he mean? He looked over to Martín del Mar "Is that enough to satisfy you sir?" he asked wondering if he would be satisfied with such vague information. [break][break]

But to be honest, that's usually all that rocket had needed to survive in this world.

Rangers are so fucking useless that it’s no wonder their wages are as much of a joke as them.

Still, while doing his best to ignore all the sobbing and sniffling, Mars listens carefully to their captive’s tales about pokémon with odd abilities and those that can mega evolve on their own accord. Bryan’s right, the latter could be called commonplace in Hoenn by now, but even if that’s the case, Mars does what he does best and tries to think how to benefit from this new information.

What can Rocket gain from knowing this?

Pokémon with odd abilities and those that can mega evolve could sell for a good price in the black market, and Rocket always has a need for more profits. Furthermore, their scientists might want to study such specimens, but of course Mars would first think of monetary gain – after all, he’s a businessman for a reason.

”It seems it’s all we will get out of him. Shame, it would have been good to at least know where all these “strange” pokémon are appearing.” That way they could have sent grunts to search for them with ease, but alas, apparently when one is in Team Rocket things are never easy.

”Do you think he has earned the right to walk out of here? I’ll leave it to your discretion.” This time, Mars’ gaze fixes on the mask worn by Bryan, the question almost as if a test of character. And honestly, it might just be, for even if the ranger were allowed to leave, he sure wouldn’t do so with intact memories.

Bryan put his chin between his thumb and his finger. By this point he had already had his situation with Eris transpired, he didn't really care if he had to take a life anymore but was this guy worth more to them dead or alive. "Hmmmm." he wondered outloud as the guy continued to snivel and sob. [break][break]

Pathetic.[break][break]

He rolled his eyes underneath his mask. "Very well." he tells him as he looks over towards his Sylveon and she uses dig again. "You can leave. Speak of this it anyone and you shall die." the man's face was full of joy as he seemed to escape in tact for the most part. That was until he'd reach the tunnel sylveon made before a loud bang filled the room and his vision fades. [break][break]

It was his grave. Sylveon hops out of the way in time and a bullet finds it's mark and the man perishes instantly. His body falls into the psuedo grave that sylveon created as she happily chucks dirt over his body. He usually used a bow and arrow before because someone could survive an arrow shot but. [break][break]

That didn't matter anymore. [break][break]

He turned back over to Mars "I think it's better to not leave any potential loose ends." he never really trusted the psychic manipulations rocket did in the past, only using it for more important figures that need to stay alive. Why waste it on small fry and risk exposing their tactics?
